Statybos metodų, medžiagų ir technologijų vietinis ir tarpregioninis pobūdis
LTVilniaus senamiesčio istorinė ir architektūrinė plėtra visuomet buvo maksimaliai derinama su gamtinės aplinkos ypatybėmis, jas kūrybingai bei racionaliai panaudojant. Jau valstybės susikūrimo užuomazgoje akivaizdūs statybos meno, statybinių medžiagų bei jų paruošimo metodų pobūdis ir ekonominiai politiniai šalies saitai, siejami su hanzietišku Rygos regionu ir šiaurės Vokietijos, ir Lenkijos statybos tradicijomis. Vilniaus regiono gamtiniai ištekliai lėmė tradicinių statybinių medžiagų – medienos, molio bei kalkių – produktų apdirbimo bei gamybos tobulėjimą ganėtinai ankstyvoje miesto plėtojimosi stadijoje ir sėkmingai tebegyvavo iki pat XIX a. vidurio. Plėtojantis Lietuvos ekonomikai ir kartu moderniai statybos industrijai, pastarajai ima trūkti rinkos apimčių kai kuriuose gamybos sektoriuose. Pastebima aktyvėjanti modernių statybinių medžiagų gamintojų tendencija gana nedviprasmiškai veržtis į istorinių pastatų tvarkymo procesų rinką. Kadangi pastarieji gali sau leisti aktyviai reklamuoti gaminius ir „nuosekliai piršti“ juos paveldo pastatų savininkams, tradicinės istorinio miesto audinio dalys sparčiai praranda savo ypatybes. Straipsnyje nagrinėjama kultūros paveldo sudėtinės materialiosios srities tradicinių statybos medžiagų ir technologijų pobūdžio bei jų panaudojimo raiškos priklausomybė nuo vietos gamtinės sanklodos ypatumų, istorijos nulemtų ekonominių ir kultūrinių regiono santykių plėtojimosi įtakų. ENThe historical and architectural development of Vilnius Old Town was always harmonised with the features of natural environment to the maximum extent by using them creatively and rationally. The nature of construction, building materials and methods of their preparation, economic and political links of the country related to the Hanseatic Riga Region, and building traditions of Northern Germany and Poland were already evident at the very start of the state’s formation. Natural resources of Vilnius region determined the development of product processing and production of traditional building materials – wood, clay and lime – at a pretty early stage of city development, and successfully existed until the mid-19th c. With the development of Lithuanian economics and modern construction industry, the latter became short of market volumes in certain production sectors. An increasing tendency of the producers of modern building materials to rather unambiguously thrust into the market of the processes of managing historical buildings was observed. Since the latter can afford themselves to actively advertise their products and “consistently thrust” these to the owners of heritage buildings, the traditional parts of the historical city tissue have been rapidly losing their properties. The paper examines the dependency of the nature of traditional building materials and technologies of the integral material area of cultural heritage and the expression of their use on the peculiarities of local nature structure and the influences of the development of economic and cultural relations of the region determined by history. It also evaluates the importance of the research and nurturance of tradition heritage emphasising its significance for the formation of specialists’ self-awareness.
