Išsilaisvinimas iš monologinio memorialo: heteromnemonikos reabilitacija

LTMonologiškumo kritika, prisiminimų dialogas ir atvira disputams istorija yra pagrindiniai šio straipsnio klausimai. Be ideologinės istorijos, atminties formavimo ir priežiūros, dar egzistuoja laisva, paklūstanti meninei vaizduotei istorija. Istorijos, vaizduotės ir ideologijos santykio problemos atveria kelią heteromnemonikos galimybei svarstyti. Istorinių įvykių suvokimas negalimas be institucionalizuotos atminties ir egzistenciškai atsakingos vaizduotės santykio kritikos. Heteromnemonika pažeidžia istorinių mokslų monologiškumą ir sudaro pagrindą praeities įvykių modelių ir scenarijų dialogui. Lietuvoje atkūrus nepriklausomybę, pirmąjį dešimtmetį monologiškumo kritika vyko greta naujų monologinių tikrovės schemų institucinio įteisinimo. Vieni simboliai ir idealai buvo pakeisti kitais, vienas istorinis laikas kitu, vienų ritualų puoselėjimas – kitų švenčių ir minėtinų dienų rėmimu. Reikalinga heteromnemonika: ji turėtų atverti kelią multikultūriniam istorijos ir praeities įsisavinimui. Heteromnemonika numato skirtingų tautų, religinių grupių, meninių ar socialinių sąjūdžių, subkultūrų teisę į prisiminimo ypatumą ir jo institucinį pripažinimą. Tai padėtų ne tik gilinti viešąją diskusiją, aiškiau suvokti oponento argumentus, juos ir jų šaltinius ramiai analizuoti, bet ir skatintų neslopinamas egzistencines išpažintis ir savikritiškai atviras autobiografijas. ENCriticism of monologism, dialogue of recollections and history that is open to disputes are the key issues of this paper. Besides ideological history, memory formation and maintenance, there exists free history that submits to artistic imagination. The problems of the relationship of history, imagination and ideology open the way for considering a possibility of heteromnemonics. Understanding of historical events is impossible without criticism of the relationship between institutionalised memory and existentially responsible imagination. Heteromnemonics violates the monologism of historical sciences and forms the basis for the dialogue of past event models and scenarios. In the first decade after restoration of independence in Lithuania criticism of monologism took place alongside institutional legitimation of new monologic reality schemes. Some symbols and ideals were replaced by others, some historical periods by others, and fostering of some rituals was replaced by support for other celebrations and special days. Heteromnemonics is required: it should open the way for multicultural assimilation of history and the past. It envisages the right of different nations, religious groups, art or social movement, and subcultures to the peculiarity of memory and its institutional recognition. This will not only help to deepen public discussion and more clearly understand the opponent’s arguments and calmly analyse them and their sources, but will also promote unsubdued existential confessions and self-critically open autobiographies. Such a context will not only encourage thinking, help to perceive and artistically express gained experience, but will also legitimate the possibility of Other – the reflections of Other, different than us, in institutes, museums and archives.
