Sutartinių skambėjimo erdvės problematika

LTAutorė straipsnyje aptaria autentiškų sutartinių integravimo į šiuolaikinę kultūrą galimybes. Glaustai apžvelgia jų raidą nuo apeiginių giesmių, giedotų tam tikru laiku ir tam tikroje erdvėje, iki savos rūšies profesionalaus giedojimo „mokyklos“, gyvavusios XX a. pradžioje. Autorė pagrindinį dėmesį skiria ne kompozitorių, citavusių sutartines, kūrybai, bet folkloro ir postfolkloro grupių, puoselėjančių šį unikalų žanrą, veiklai. Autorės manymu, šiuolaikinėje sutartinių sklaidoje galima įžvelgti dvi kryptis, vedančias sacrum ir profanum link. Pastebima tendencija sutartinėms tapti savotišku Lietuvos „kultūriniu“ suvenyru. Sutartinės įpinamos į neretai menkaverčius popmuzikos kūrinius, tarsi bandant „kalbėti jaunimui suprantama kalba“. Autorė nuogąstauja, kad suintensyvėjusi sutartinių sklaida per populiariosios muzikos žanrą netaptų tik pigaus populiarumo vaikymusi. Jos manymu, šiuolaikinėje kultūroje galimos įvairios kitos modernaus sutartinių pateikimo klausytojui formos. Sutartinių giedojimo ir pučiamaisiais instrumentais atliekamos muzikos skambesio subtilybėms atskleisti reikalinga savita kamerinė erdvė. Erdve, bene geriausiai atskleidžiančia sutartinių prigimtinį sacrum, tapo Vilniaus Bernardinų bažnyčia. ENIn this article the author discusses the possibilities of integration of authentic sutartinė songs in modern culture. She briefly reviews their development from ritual chants chanted in a certain space and at a certain time, to a specific professional chanting “school” that existed in the beginning of the 20th century. The author pays the main attention not to the creativity of composers who were creating sutartinė songs, but to the activity of folklore and post-folklore groups cherishing this unique genre. In the author's opinion, the modern development of sutartinė songs features two trends leading towards sacrum and profanum. There is a distinctive tendency for sutartinė songs to become a specific cultural souvenir of Lithuania. Sutartinė songs are intertwined with sometimes low value works of popular music as if trying to “speak in a language understood by the youth”. The author is worried that intensified popularisation of sutartinė songs via the genre of popular music might turn into a gain for cheap popularity. In her opinion, the contemporary culture offers various other forms of presenting sutartinė songs to listeners in a modern way. A specific chamber space is needed to reveal the subtleties of sutartinė songs chanting and music played by wind instruments. The Vilnius Church of Bernardines became such a space, probably one of the best in revealing the inherent sacrum of sutartinė songs.
