LTTeatro kalba formuojasi derinant įvairius teatrinius kodus. Spektaklyje informacija randasi vienu metu iš kelių šaltinių, tokių kaip dekoracijos, apšvietimas, kostiumai, aktorių vaidyba (jų gestai, mimika, kalba), muzikinis ir garsinis apiforminimas. Pagrindinis tyrimo tikslas – esminių teatro semiotikos bruožų išryškinimas ir analizė. Tuo tikslu sugretinami spektaklyje naudojami kalbiniai ir nekalbiniai ženklai, analizuojama scenografinė erdvė. Tyrimo objektas – teatrinis pastatymas – Mindaugo Karbauskio spektaklis „Lygiosios trunka akimirką“, kurio premjera įvyko 2010 m. Rusijos akademiniame jaunimo teatre (Icchoko Mero romano apie žydų getą fašistų okupacijos metu inscenizacija). Režisieriui būdingas asketiškumas ir simbolizmas, sąlygojami lietuvių teatro metaforiškumo tradicijos. Jo spektakliuose visada nagrinėjama metafizinė tematika, o gyvenimas siejasi su mirtimi. Geto prasmė spektaklyje nesisieja vien su istoriniu fenomenu, jis reiškia laisvės apribojimą apskritai. Būtent tokiose klaikiose sąlygose ir ribinėse situacijose žmogus priima lemiamus egzistencinius sprendimus, jam tarsi suteikiama pasirinkimo laisvė. Herojai pralaimi gyvenimus, tačiau išlošia daug svarbesnį – jų mirtys tampa laisvo pasirinkimo nelaisvėje rezultatu. Ši centrinė spektaklio idėja sprendžiama lingvistiniame ir nelingvistiniame lygmenyse. M. Karbauskio spektaklyje tik kai kurios detalės primena epochą: jos nėra pirminiai atributai – aktoriai jas įgyja tik spektaklio eigoje. Vizualiniai ir garsiniai teatro kodai akcentuoja kalbinį kodą ir taip pat pasitarnauja bendros idėjos išraiškai.
ENTheatre language is formed by combining various theatrical codes. During the performance, information is simultaneously provided from several sources such as scenery, lighting, costumes, acting (actors’ gestures, mime, language), musical and audio execution. The main aim of the research is to point out and analyse the key features of theatre semiotics. Thus the paper compares linguistic and non-linguistic signs used in the performance, and analyses the scenographic space. The object of the research is the theatrical staging of “Lygiosios trunka akimirką” [A Stalemate Lasts but a Moment] by Mindaugas Karbauskis (after Icchokas Meras’ novel about the Jewish ghetto during Fascist occupation). The first-night was held in the Russian Academic Youth Theatre in 2010. The director could be characterised by asceticism and symbolism, determined by the Lithuanian theatre metaphorical tradition. His performances always focus on metaphysical themes, and life is related to death. The meaning of the ghetto in the performance is not associated only with the historical phenomenon; it denotes freedom restriction in general. Namely under these horrific conditions and in marginal situations an individual makes the crucial existential decisions and he is as if granted the freedom of choice. Heroes lose lives yet win a much more important thing – their deaths become the result of a free choice in captivity. This central idea of the performance is addressed at both linguistic and non-linguistic levels. Only certain details in Karbauskis’ performance remind of the epoch: they are not the primary attributes, but the actors acquire them only in the course of the performance. Visual and audio theatrical codes emphasise the linguistic code and also contribute to the expression of the general idea.
