ENThe problems of the information technologies and law in creating the information society in Lithuania are discussed in the article. The problems are analysed in the context of experience and perspectives of the European Union, Lithuania and the Law Academy of Lithuania. The historical aspects of the information society development in the world, European Union and Lithuania are discussed as well. The problems of the of legal basis creation of information society and the demands for the teaching and training of lawyers for information society are discussed in this article too.
