Alma Ragauskaitė. XVI–XVIII a. kauniečių asmenvardžiai
LTRecenzijoje aptariama Almos Ragauskaitės knyga „XVI–XVIII a. kauniečių asmenvardžiai“. Pažymima, kad ši knyga yra unikalus leidinys, kuriame sukaupta pastarųjų dešimtmečių tikrinių vardų tyrimų patirtis, remiamasi ne tik lietuvių, bet ir kitų šalių onomastikos metodologijomis, gilinama ir praplečiama istorinės antroponimikos problematika. Teigiama, kad A. Ragauskaitės atliktas kauniečių asmenvardžių tyrimas pagrįstas unikaliais Kauno XVI–XVIII a. istoriniais šaltiniais – miesto antroponimija surinkta iš 51-os Kauno senojo archyvo aktų knygos. Tai ne tik įspūdingas šaltinių skaičius, – knygoje gausiai pateikta senojo Kauno miestiečių asmenvardžių autentiškų lyčių, atskleista pavardžių formavimosi istorija. Recenzijoje aptariamas ir įvertinamas visų penkių knygą sudarančių skyrių turinys. Recenzentė teigia, kad knygoje pasigenda krikščioniškojo antroponimijos paveldo su visa lietuviška esatimi. Jos manymu, krikščioniškų vardų lietuviškos lytys yra unikalios, jos istoriniuose šaltiniuose yra labai svarbios miestų lietuviškumo liudytojos, o detalesni kriščioniškų vardų tyrimai galbūt atskleistų lietuvių kalbos įtaką XVIa. Kauno antroponimijai. Recenzentė reziumuoja, kad knygoje kauniečių asmenvardžiai gretinti su kitų miestų ir miestelių istorine antroponimija, todėl tyrimas yra solidus ir išsamus, knyga bus reikalinga ne tik Lietuvos, bet ir kitų šalių onomastams, istorikams, kultūrologams, o knygoje pateikta XVI–XVIII a. kauniečių asmenvardžių rodyklė bus naudinga ir įdomi Kauno miesto gyventojams.
ENThe review discusses the book “XVI–XVIII a. kauniečių asmenvardžiai” [Personal Names of Kaunas Residents in the 16th–18th c.] by Alma Ragauskaitė. The book is a unique publication which accumulates the experience of research of proper names of recent decades, refers to both Lithuanian and foreign onomastic methodologies, deepens and broadens the issues of historical anthroponymy. The research of personal names of Kaunas residents carried out by Ragauskaitė is based on the unique historical sources of Kaunas in the 16th–18th c. – city anthroponymy collected from the 51st Book of Acts of the Kaunas Old Archives. It is not just an impressive number of sources; the book is abundant in the authentic forms of personal names of the residents of old Kaunas and reveals the history of the formation of surnames. The review discusses and evaluates the content of all five chapters of the book. The reviewer misses the Christian anthroponomastic heritage with the entire Lithuanian being in the book. According to her, the Lithuanian forms of Christian names are unique and they are very important witnesses of the Lithuanian nature of cities in historical sources, whereas more detailed studies of Christian names would most probably reveal the impact of the Lithuanian language on the 16th c. Kaunas anthroponymy. The reviewer resumes that the book compares the personal names of Kaunas residents with the historical anthroponymy of other cities and towns; therefore, the research is solid and exhaustive and the book will be necessary for both Lithuanian and foreign onomatologists, historians, culturologists, and the index of personal names of Kaunas residents of the 16th–18th c. will be useful and interesting to contemporary Kaunas residents.
