Liūnės Sutemos gyvenimo ir tekstų susitikimas

LTStraipsnis yra Virginijos Paplauskienės monografijos „Liūnė Sutema: Gyvenimo ir kūrybos kelias“ (Kaunas: Naujasis lankas, 2009) recenzija. Monografija parašyta remiantis istoriniu-aprašomuoju metodu, tradiciniu literatūros istorijos modeliu, kuriame tekstas pateikiamas chronologine seka sisteminant įvykius, siejant juos į prasmingą visumą, išryškinant esminius, aktualius reiškinius. Nušviečiami iki šiol mažai žinomi Liūnės Sutemos biografijos faktai, pasaulėžiūros ypatumai, akcentuojamos poetės estetinės nuostatos, atskleidžiamas autentiškas jos gyvenimas, santykis su aplinka, kurioje gyveno ir kūrė. Studiją sudaro dvi dalys. Pirmoji skirta Liūnės Sutemos biografijai, jos gyvenimui Lietuvoje (1927–1944), Vokietijoje ir Austrijoje (1944–1949) bei Jungtinėse Amerikos Valstijose (nuo 1994), antroji – kūrybai. Biografinėje dalyje pačios poetės pasakojamą autentišką gyvenimo istoriją pildo archyviniai šaltiniai: laiškai, dienoraščio fragmentai, amžininkų atsiminimai, fotografijos. Neabejotina, kad didžiausia knygos vertė ir privalumas – monografijos autorės autentiškų pokalbių su Liūne Sutema ištraukos. Monografijos leitmotyvu tampa kelio, kelionės metafora. Monografija iliustruota nuotraukomis, dokumentų, rankraščių, laiškų, dienoraščių ir užrašų knygelių faksimilėmis, poetės vyro rašytojo Mariaus Katiliškio piešiniais. Galima konstatuoti, kad monografijoje atvertas sudėtingas poetės gyvenimas – kaip pretekstas – literatūros istorijai tikrai svarbus.

ENThe analysis of social aspects of the Russian situation in Lithuania in 1918–1940 creates preconditions for looking at the problems that have been scarcely covered in Lithuanian historiography. Social phenomena investigated on the retrospective level partly reflect the relevant issues of present societies. They include a focus on demographic processes, the problems of providing education to ethnic minorities in their mother tongue, their integration in the labour market, the activities of public organisations and the dimensions of social adaptation. Novelty lies in the fact that the monograph acknowledges an exceptional social role of the intelligentsia during the given period and objectivises Russians as a construct of various segments. With regard to the historical and sociological perspective, the study construes the interpretation of the social situation of Russians in Lithuania in 1918–1940, discusses the relevant demographic problems, the problems of education in the mother tongue, professional activity, dissemination of the public organisations network and social adaptation. The monograph reveals the time and scope of Russian migration to Lithuania, the dynamics of quantitative weight and territorial distribution, the programme of educating the young Russian generation to be loyal and integrated citizens, Russian skills to integrate in the labour market and seek a favourable social status in society, efficiency of the collective consolidation of Russians in the form of public organisations, and finally the types of social adaptation of Russians. The aspects of the social situation of Russians are revealed through a comparative analysis. Its results enable evaluating the situation not only on the local, but also on a wider geographical level.
