Gyvybės ratas gimtojoje kalboje

LTStraipsnyje recenzuojama unikali etnologinės reikšmės Viktorijos Daujotytės knyga „Balsai ūkuose“ (Vilnius: Regioninių kultūros iniciatyvų centras, 2010), kurią sudaro autorės pratarmė („Pasiaiškinimas“) bei eiliuoti tekstai, lygia greta užrašyti žemaičių (varniškių dūnininkų) tarme ir bendrine lietuvių kalba. Šiais tekstais autorė siekia atkurti autentišką motinos balsą, kuriame ieško savo tapatybės ištakų, žemės žmogaus išminties, tampančios gyvenimo filosofija, taip pat rekonstruoti jau beveik išnykusio jos vaikystės kaimo pasaulį – su visais jo žmonių charakteriais, darbais, daiktais ir gamta. Motinos kalba rekonstruojama atmintyje, tai sąmonėje išsaugotas praeities laikas, todėl knygą galima laikyti prisiminimų literatūra ir tyrinėti kartu su kitais reikšmingais memuarinės literatūros tekstais. Knyga neapsiriboja vien tarmės užrašymo ir etnografiniais tikslais, joje sukuriamas konkretus ir stiprus žemaitės moters charakteris, o iš atminties prikeltas motinos balsas retransiliuojamas kaip ypač paveikus estetinis, poetinis tekstas, kaip autentiška poezija, turinti meditacijos, minimalizmo ir kasdienybės estetikos bruožų. Straipsnis parašytas taikant įvairias prasmės aiškinimo strategijas: kultūrinį antropologinį, archetipinį, komparatyvistinį metodus, tačiau labiausiai pasitikėta vadinamuoju artimu skaitymu, analitiniu interpretaciniu metodu, estetinio suvokimo intuicija. Straipsnio tikslas – apmąstyti moderniojo žmogaus kultūrinės tapatybės problematiką, kuri ypač aktuali šiandien.

ENThe paper reviews the unique book of ethnological significance “Balsai ūkuose” [Voices in the Nebulae] by Viktorija Daujotytė (Vilnius: Centre of Regional Cultural Initiatives, 2010). The book consists of the author’s preface (“Explanation”) and versed texts in the Samogitian Varniai dūnininkai dialect and the standard Lithuanian language. By these texts the author seeks to recreate the authentic voice of her mother in which she searches for the source of her identity, wisdom of the human of the earth, which becomes a life philosophy, as well as to reconstruct the almost extinct world of her childhood village – with all characters of its inhabitants, works, things and nature. The mother’s language is reconstructed in the memory; it is the past time preserved in consciousness; therefore, the book might be attributed to the literature of memoirs and explored together with other texts of memoiristics. The book is not limited to recording of the dialect and ethnographical aims; it creates a concrete and strong character of a Samogitian woman, and the voice of the mother recreated from memory is retransmitted as a particularly suggestible aesthetic and poetic text, as authentic poetry with the features of meditation, minimalism and daily life aesthetics. The paper was written by employing various strategies of meaning explanation: cultural anthropological, archetypal, comparative methods; however, the author mainly relied on close reading, analytical interpretational method and intuition of aesthetic perception. The aim of the paper is to reflect on the problems of cultural identity of a modern man, which is particularly relevant today.
