LTRecenzija aptaria Mažosios Lietuvos XVIII amžiaus reikšmingiausio leksikografijos paminklo – Jokūbo Brodovskio rankraštinio žodyno „Jokūbas Brodovskis, Lexicon Germanico=Lithvanicvm et Lithvanico=Germanicvm. Rankraštinis XVIII amžiaus žodynas. Dokumentinis leidimas su faksimile, perrašu ir žodžių registru “ naują leidimą. Pažymima, kad Žodyno tekstas pateikiamas dviem pavidalais – rankraščio originalo skaitmenine reprodukcija (faksimile) ir rankraščio perrašu. Leidinį sudaro trys tomai: pirmajame tome yra pratarmė, perrašo principai, Biblijos knygų santrumpos ir kt. Antrajame tome publikuojama kita žodyno kopijos ir perrašo dalis. O trečiajame tome pateikiamos lietuviškų žodžių rodyklės. Autorė pažymi, kad jos recenzija lies tik 1 ir 3 tomus. Autorė plačiai pristato pirmame tome publikuojamą prof. Vincento Drotvino studiją „Jokūbas Brodovskis – žodynininkas“, kurios dalyse („Jokūbo Brodovskio gyvenimo apžvalga“, „Žodyno istorija ir dabartinė būklė“, „Žodyno recepcija lietuvių filologijoje“) aprašoma žodyno istorija, pateikiama tyrimų apžvalga, aptariamas gyvosios lietuvininkų leksikos turinys ir kilmė, patarlių vaidmuo, žodyno sandaros bruožai. Teigiamai vertindama pačią studiją, recenzentė pastebi, kad negalima sutikti su autoriaus teiginiu, kad J. Brodovskiui mirus, žodyno rankraštis atiteko G. Ostermeyeriui. Jos teigimu, tam nėra jokių įrodymų. Recenzentė teigiamai vertina žodyno faksimilę, pažymėdama, kad nepaisant to, jog yra sumažinta, ji skaitoma gerai. Taip pat sveikintinu dalyku autorė laiko trečio tomo savalaikį leidimą.

ENThe review discusses the new edition of the most significant lexicographical monument of the 18th c. Lithuania Minor, “Jokūbas Brodovskis, Lexicon Germanico=Lithvanicvm et Lithvanico=Germanicvm. Rankraštinis XVIII amžiaus žodynas. Dokumentinis leidimas su faksimile, perrašu ir žodžių registru” [Jacob Brodowski, German-Lithuanian and Lithuanian-German Dictionary. Manuscript Dictionary of the 18th c. Document Publication with Facsimile, Transcription and Word Index]. The text of the dictionary is presented in two forms: digital reproduction (facsimile) and transcription of the manuscript. The publication consists of three volumes. Volume 1 contains a foreword, the principles of transcription, abbreviations of Bible books, etc. Volume 2 contains the other part of the dictionary copy and transcription. Volume 3 gives the indexes of Lithuanian words. The review concerns only Volumes 1 and 3. The author widely presents the study “Jacob Brodowski, a dictionary compiler” by Prof. Vincentas Drotvinas, published in Volume 1, the parts whereof describe the history of dictionary, give an overview of research, discuss the content and origin of the living lexis of lietuvininkai, the role of proverbs and the features of dictionary structure. Giving a positive evaluation to the study, the reviewer observes that the author’s statement that after Brodowski’s death the manuscript of the dictionary passed on to G. Ostermeyer cannot be accepted, as there is no relevant evidence. The reviewer positively evaluates the facsimile of the dictionary, noting that despite the fact that it has been zoomed out it reads quite well. The timely edition of the third volume has also been welcomed by the author.
