LTĮvadiniame straipsnyje leidiniui, skirtam šeimos sudarymo pokyčiams Gruzijoje, Lietuvoje, Rusijoje ir Prancūzijoje, supažindinama su tiriamąja problema ir leidinio sudarymo principais. Straipsnyje pateikiami kai kurie apibendrinimai, gauti išanalizavus jame pateikiamų publikacijų rezultatus ir demografinius duomenis. Analizuojami tokie apibendrinantys demografinius pokyčius veiksniai: antropologiniai, susiję su vidiniais šeimos santykiais, politiniai, išreiškiantys nacionalinius pokyčius ir raidą, socialiniai – ekonominiai, nurodantys nacionalines ir tarpnacionalines tendencijas, savo ruožtu turinčias įtakos demografinei situacijai. Šių veiksnių analizė leidžia atskleisti įvairių valstybių nacionalinius skirtumus, išskirti esamas ir būsimas tendencijas. Minėtų valstybių patirties analizės pasirinkimą lėmė tai, kad Lietuva, Gruzija ir Rusija, nors ir turinčios bendrų sąlyčio taškų istorine ir politine prasme, yra iš esmės skirtingos savo tradicijomis ir šeimos santykių ypatumais, o Prancūzija iš esmės skiriasi savo patirtimi, būdama Vakarų Europos kultūros įtakojama. Toks pasirinkimas leidžia geriausiai ištirti socialinių, kultūrinių ir politinių veiksnių įtaką demografinėms transformacijoms. Sraipsnyje detaliai palyginami atskirų valstybių statistiniai duomenys, atskleidžiantys situaciją gimstamumo, santuokų sudarymo, namų ūkio darbų pasiskirstymo, pajamų pasiskirstymo, lyčių vaidmenų ir kitose srityse.

ENThe introductive article to the publication concerned with family formation changes in Georgia, Lithuania, Russia and France introduces the problems of the research and the principle of the publication formation. The article presents certain generalisations obtained having analysed the results of publications submitted in it and the demographical data. The following factors generalising demographic changes are analysed: anthropological factors related to internal family relations, political factors highlighting national changes and development, social and economic factors indicating national and international tendencies influencing the demographic situation. The analysis of these factors allows revealing national differences of various states as well as identifying current and future tendencies. The selection of the mentioned states for further experience analysis was determined by the fact that Lithuania, Georgia and Russia, although having common points with regard to history and politics, are fundamentally different in terms of their traditions and family relations, whereas France has a totally different experience, since it is a Western state. Such a choice allows to optimally analyse the impact of social, cultural and political factors on demographic transformations. The article thoroughly compares statistical data of each state, which reveal the situation in the fields of birth and marriage rate, household, benefit distribution, gender roles and other fields.
