ENThe fate of Antoni Markowski was greatly influenced by the political history of the 20th century. As a volunteer he took part in the Polish-Bolshevik war. After its completion, he went to study in Vilnius. After their positive conclusion, he became a sub-prosecutor in Suwałki, and then an investigating judge in Grodno. Unfortunately, the outbreak of World War II ended his career in the structures of the Polish judiciary. Due to the political situation after the war, he remained in exile in Great Britain, where he worked as a teacher.
