LTGrupė Kauno devintojo forto kalinių – lavonų degintojų – 1943 m. pabaigoje ištrūko iš šio kalėjimo, paversto įmone 1005-B (tyrinėtojai jau išsiaiškino, kad šifras 1005-B rodo, jog turime reikalą su lavonų naikinimu). Kitą dieną po pabėgimo grupė bėglių, prasmukusi į Kauno getą, surašė ten aktą dėl savo buvimo forte ir atskleistų nacių piktadarybių. Dokumentas buvo surašytas rusų kalba – geto pogrindis numatė jį perduoti aukščiausiajai rusų armijos vadovybei. Sovietiniais laikais akto tekstas nebuvo publikuotas: atidžiau panagrinėję dokumentą, jame rasime nemažai faktų, prieštaraujančių tuometinės valdžios koncepcijoms. Straipsnio autoriui 1983 m. rudenį pavyko nusirašyti akto tekstą nuo Izraelio Veselnickio – vieno iš pabėgimo organizatorių – saugomos kopijos. Publikacijoje skelbiamas dokumento vertimas į lietuvių kalbą. Išaiškinamas faktas, kad dokumentą tuo metu surašė pogrindinės organizacijos narė Kauno gete medicinos seserimi dirbusi Sara Zakova ((ištekėjusi ji tapo Sara Gerberg).

ENA group of Kaunas Ninth Fort prisoners - corpse burners - in the late 1943 managed to escape from this prison which was called 1005-B enterprise (the researchers have already discovered that 1005-B code shows that corpse destruction is involved). On the next day following the escape, a group of fugitives having managed to get into Kaunas Ghetto wrote a letter there telling about their time spent in the fort and discovered crimes committed by the Nazis. The document was drawn in Russian, as the Ghetto underground planned to give it over to the supreme management of the Russian army. The text of the letter was not published during soviet times: having made a closer analysis of the document, we can find quite a few facts that contradict the concepts of the then government. In autumn 1983, the author of the article managed to copy the text of the letter from the copy kept by Izraelus Veselnickiskis, one of the escape organisers. The Lithuanian translation of the document is published in the article. It was ascertained that the document was written by a member of the underground organisation, working as a nurse at Kaunas Ghetto Sara Zakova (after marriage, became Sara Gerberg).
