Antalieptės kraštas
LTKnyga yra nuoseklus ir informatyvus žinynas, kuriame aprašyta 102 Antalieptės valsčiaus (Zarasų raj.) kaimai, viensėdžiai ir dvarvietės nuo pirmojo istorinio paminėjimo iki mūsų dienų, įamžinta daugybė pavardžių (nuo paprasto artojo iki iškilaus mokslininko), pateikti XX a. Antaliepties gyventojų sąrašai, aprašyti jų užsiėmimai, veikla, likimai. Didžioji dalis aprašytų Antaliepties vietovių jau išnyko iš Lietuvos žemėlapių kartu su sodybomis,vietovardžiais ir gyventojais. Rengdamas knygą Vytautas Indrašius daugiau nei 3 metus vaikščiojo po buvusio Antalieptės valsčiaus kaimus, ieškojo ir kalbino vietos gyventojus, ypač senolius. Surinkęs gyventojų pasakojimus apie Antalieptės valsčiaus kaimus ir Antalieptės miestelį, senovines nuotraukas bei dokumentus, tyrinėjo tūkstančius puslapių archyvinių bylų, tikrino gyventojų pasakojimus su archyvinėse bylose esančiais dokumentais. Be to, Lietuvos ir Lenkijos archyvuose surado nemažai Antalieptės valsčiuje buvusių dvarų (pvz., Vasaknų dvaro) nuotraukų ir brėžinių, kuriuos jis perdavė šiuo metu dvarus atstatantiems savininkams. Knygoje yra daug istorinės–memuarinės medžiagos. Leidinys gausiai iliustruotas senųjų vietovių žemėlapiais, statinių planais, asmenų portretais, įvairiomis kitomis nuotraukomis bei dokumentais.
ENThe book is a consistent and informative catalogue containing 102 descriptions of villages, single-homestead rural settlements and manor sites in Antalieptė volost (Zarasai district) from their first reference in the historical chronicles till today, a number of prominent names (from an ordinary ploughman to a famous scholar), the lists of Antalieptė residents in the 20th century, descriptions of their occupation, activities, and destinies. Most of the described locations in Antalieptė have vanished from the maps of Lithuania along with the homesteads, the place names and the residents. Vytautas Indrašius spent more than three years in the former villages of Antalieptė Volost looking for local residents, the elderly in particular, and talking to them, while compiling the book. After collecting the residents’ stories about the villages in Antalieptė Volost and Antalieptė town, as well as ancient photographs and documents, he studied thousands of pages of archival files and checked the residents’ stories against the documents in the archival files. What is more, he came across a number of photographs and drawings of the manors, which used to stand in Antalieptė Volost (e.g. Vasaknos Manor), in the Lithuanian and Polish archives and handed them over to the present owners who are reconstructing the manors. The book contains a lot of historical–memorial material. The publication is abundantly illustrated with the maps of ancient locations, the blueprints of the buildings, the persons’ portraits, as well as other photographs and documents.
