Kultūros krizės

ENThis article reviews philosophical insights from antiquity to the present. The philosophical insights reviewed are those which foresee a crisis in the expression of the spiritual life of a human being who is developing at the junction of culture and civilization. These insights preceded the examinations of European culture made by: St. Augustine, E. von Hartman, M. Scheier, A. Schopenhauer, F. Nietsche, O. Spengler, and M. Heiddeger. It has been noticed that a dramatism arises in the process of ascribing importance to technology, which gives rise to an industrial consumer society. It has also been noticed that the hypotheses of futurologists are often unexpected, however, they are important in the socio-cultural dynamic of our century.
