Endriejavo apylinkių kaimai XVI-XX a. žemėlapiuose

LTPublikacijoje norima pateikti informaciją apie Endriejavo valsčiaus kaimų raidos ypatybes. Norint tai padaryti, reikia nustatyti Endriejavo valsčiaus kaimų susiklostymo, jų vystymosi sąlygas, atkreipiant dėmesį į gamtinius, geografinius ir kitus aspektus. Būtina nustatyti kaimų pokyčius įvairiais istoriniais periodais, išsiaiškinti to ploto kaimų likimą. Atkreipiamas dėmesys, kad Endriejavo valsčiaus kaimai istoriškai ir geografiškai dar nebuvo tyrinėti. Įdomu pastebėti tai, kad Endriejavo valsčiaus kaimai neatitiko sovietmečiu sukurtų kaimo stereotipų ir dėl to liko netyrinėti. Nurodoma, kad Endriejavo apylinkių ir jo gyvenviečių praeitis yra atspindima senuose ir gretimų kraštų žemėlapiuose. Pastebima tai, kad iki XVIII–XIX a. Europoje sudaryti žemėlapiai buvo netikslūs. Senuose žemėlapiuose buvo pateikta padrika informacija. Atkreipiamas dėmesys, kad atskirų gyvenviečių pažymėjimas LDK ar dar didesnės teritorijos žemėlapyje rodė pažymėtos gyvenvietės svarbą. Konstatuojama, kad ilgas Endriejavo apylinkių nuošalumas lėmė savitesnių kaimų klostymąsi. Jie buvo mažiau įtakojami išorinių veiksnių. Šiuose kaimuose galėjo atsispindėti senesnių epochų gyvensenos tradicijos. Nurodoma, kad minimame valsčiuje buvo susiklostęs gana chaotiškas sodybų, lauko keliukų ir kt. tinklas. Jis atspindėjo lokalius vietovės ypatumus. Atkreipiamas dėmesys, kad savaimingas kaimų ir viensėdžių tinklas labiau pradėjo keistis II–ojo pasaulinio karo metais ir ypatingai sovietinės okupacijos dešimtmečiais. Šiuo laikotarpiu kurta aplinka iš esmės skyrėsi nuo per ilgus amžius susiklosčiusių tradicijų.

ENA publication is aimed to render the information about the development features of villages in Endriejavas municipality. In order to do it, it is necessary to determine how the villages in Endriejavas municipality appeared and developed taking into account natural, geographic and other aspects. It is necessary to indicate the changes of the villages in different historic periods and to find out their destiny. Attention is paid to the fact that the villages of Endriejavas municipality have never been historically and geographically analysed. Also, they did not correspond with the stereotypes of the village of the Soviet period and therefore were not analysed. It is indicated that the history of Endriejavas area and its settlements are reflected in old maps or the maps of adjacent areas. Pay attention to the fact that until the 18th–19th c. the maps made in Europe were not precise. The old maps contain disconnected information. If a settlement was marked in a map of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania or in a map of even bigger territory, it indicated the importance of the marked settlement. It is stated that a long-lasting apartness of Endriejavas area influenced a more specific arrangement of villages. They were less influenced by external factors. These villages were able to reflect the traditions of older epochs. It is indicated that a quite chaotic net of homesteads, roads and pathways appeared in the mentioned municipality. It also reflected the local features of the area. Attention is paid to a spontaneous net of villages and homesteads which experienced many changes during the World War II and especially during the decades of the Soviet occupation. The environment that was created at that time was very different from the long-lasting traditions.
