Senosios sodybos Endriejavo valsčiuje

LTStraipsnyje aprašomos senosios Endriejavo valsčiaus sodybos. Ieškoma savitesnių šioms apylinkėms būdingų tradicinės liaudies architektūros bruožų. Endriejavo apylinkės įdomios kaip kultūrinio paribio zona, kur kirtosi Žemaitijos ir Mažosios Lietuvos tradicijos. Deja, po 1944 metų Endriejavo apylinkėse dauguma senųjų pastatų buvo sunaikinta ar įvairiai perdirbta. Pasikeitus gyvenimo būdui, nedaugelis stengėsi išsaugoti tradicines sodybas. Dar likę senovės fragmentai įvairiai pertvarkomi ir dabar. Daugiau įdomių senų sodybų ar jų fragmentų aptikta nuošaliose vietovėse, kurias mažiau palietė sovietmečio pertvarkymai. Šiame straipsnyje pateikiamos kai kurių įdomesnių sodybų planų schemos, 2004 metais tebestovėjusių senųjų pastatų fotonuotraukos ir fragmentiškos žinios apie sodybų praeitį. Likę senųjų sodybų fragmentai liudija, kad šiose apylinkėse vyravo vienkieminės sodybos, bet būta ir kompaktiškesnių sodybų. Greta kuklesnių sodybų būta labai didelių, kuriose stovėjo stambūs pastatai. Be taisyklingiau suplanuotų sodybų, čia buvo ir senajai Žemaitijai būdingų padrikųjų sodybų, kuriose pastatai išdėstyti laisvai. Endriejavo centre dar išliko keli mediniai vaizdingesni namai, būdingi Žemaitijos miesteliams. Juose atsispindi šioms apylinkėms būdingas skirtingų kultūrinių įtakų bei liaudies architektūros tradicijų susipynimas. 2007 m. dar užfiksuota ir XIX a. (ar net XVIII a.) būdingų pastatų bei jų liekanų. Tai rodo, kad gausių modernizacijų laikais Endriejavo apylinkėse dar buvo gajos tradicionalistinės nuostatos – neskubėta griauti senų pastatų.

ENAn article describes the old homesteads of Endriejavas municipality. It is aimed to reveal more individual features of a traditional folk architecture of the area. Endriejavas area is interesting as a zone of a cultural periphery where the traditions of Lower Lithuania and Lithuania Minor were intercrossing. However, in 1944, the majority of the old buildings in Endriejavas area were destroyed or reconstructed in many different ways. After the change of a life-style, nobody was interested in preservation of traditional homesteads. Now, the remained old fragments are also reconstructed. Many interesting old homesteads and their fragments are in remote areas that were less touched by the Soviet reconstructions. The article contains some schemes of more interesting homesteads and the pictures and some fragmentary data about the past of the homesteads that were still standing in 2004. The remained fragments of homesteads reveal that granges were popular in the area, however, there were some more compact homesteads. Next to the modest homesteads, there were very big ones with big buildings. Despite the well-formed homesteads, there were scattered homesteads where the buildings were arranged freely that is a feature of the Old Lower Lithuania. A few wooden and more beautiful buildings that are characteristic of the towns in Lower Lithuania remained in the centre of Endriejavas. They reflect the mixture of folk architecture traditions and influences of various cultures. In 2007, the buildings or their remains of the 19th c. (or even the 18th c.) were registered. It reveals that during the period of various modernisations, traditional attitudes were vital in Endriejavas area; people did not rush to demolish old buildings.
