Pasaulinių karų poveikis olimpinių žaidynių plaukimo varžybų rezultatams

LTDarbe nagrinėjamos I-XIV olimpinės žaidynių (OŽ) kai kurie duomenys, bei I ir II pasaulinių karų poveikis olimpinių žaidynių plaukimo varžybų rezultatams. Tyrėme, kaip kito dalyvių skaičius I-XIV OŽ, atkreipdami ypatingą dėmesį į OŽ, kurios vyko tuoj po pasaulinių karų. Nagrinėjome kaip keitėsi plaukimo varžybų programa, kaip keitėsi dalyvių sakaičius I-XIV OŽ plaukimo varžybų visose rungtyse. Tyrėme OŽ plaukimo čempionų ir prizininkų rezultatus, bei rezultatų vidurkius ir juos lyginome tarpusavyje. Duomenis tyrimams gavome iš literatūros šaltinių, varžybų protokolų bei enciklopedijų, Gauti duomenys parodė, Pasauliniai karai turėjo didesnės neigiamos įtakos vyrų vidutinių ir ilgų nuotolių rezultatams negu trumpų l.st. nuotolių rezultatams. Moterų parodytų plaukimo rezultatų kitimo duomenys parodė, kad jų augimui I ir II pasauliniai karai turėjo mažesnės neigiamos įtakos negu vyrų rezultatams, nors JAV plaukikės tuoj po karų laimėjo daugiau aukso medalių negu europietės, tačiau JAV iškovotų aukso medalių skaičius nebuvo toks ženklus lyginant su JAV vyrų plaukikų iškovotais medaliais. Vyrų ne europiečių pasiekti rezultatai OŽ tuoj po pasaulinių karų, neleido taip smarkiai regresuoti plaukimo varžybų rezultatams. ENThe work considers some data of the I-XIV Olympic Games (OG) and the impact of the First and Second World Wars on the results of swimming competitions of the Olympic Games. We investigated how the number of the participants in the I-XIV OG changed paying special attention to the Olympic Games, which were held immediately after the world wars. We investigated how the programme of the swimming competition changes, how the member of its participants changed in all events of the swimming competition of the I-XIV OG. We investigated the results of the swimming champions and prize-winners of the OG, as well as the means of the results and compared them. We obtained the data for investigations from the sources of literature, competition protocols and encyclopaedias. The data obtained showed that the World Wars had a greater negative impact on the results of medium and long distances than those of short distances. The data of a change in the swimming results shown by women indicated that the First and Second World Wars had a less considerable negative impact on their increase than they had on the men’s results though the USA female swimmers won more gold medals immediately after the wards than did the European swimmers, however, the number of gold medals won by the USA was not so considerable as compared with the number of medals won by the USA male swimmers. The results obtained by non-European males in the Olympic games did not allow the swimming competition results to regress so markedly.
