Sergančiojo lėtine psichikos liga patirtis

LTDaktaro disertacijoje analizuojama sergančiųjų lėtinėmis psichikos ligomis patirtis. Tyrimo teoriniai principai remiasi funkciniu požiūriu, išryškinančiu sergančiojo vaidmens sampratą. Sergančiojo vaidmens samprata remiasi simbolinio interakcionizmo teorija, visuomenės reakcijos/stigmatizacijos teorija ir nepsichiatriniu požiūriu į psichikos ligas. Tiriant sergančiųjų lėtinėmis psichikos ligomis patirtis naudotasi pasakojamosios apklausos metodu, užduodant atvirus klausimus (Ką reiškia Jums būti psichikos ligoniu?), atliepiančius tyrimo tikslus.

ENIn doctoral dissertation is analyzed the experience of chronic mental illness. The theoretical principles of this doctoral research rely upon functional approach that highlights the sick role conception. The concept of the sick role is based on the symbolic interactionism theory, the “societal reaction/labelling” theory and the anti-psychiatric view on mental illness. Experiences of chronic mental illness are researched by using a narrative inquiry method by formulating an open question (What means it to you to be a mental ill person?), which is orientated on the research goal.
