Juozo Paukštelio romano "Kaimynai" 2-asis leidimas: pakeitimai ir perrašymai

LTStraipsnyje aprašomuoju-lyginamuoju metodu aptariami pakeitimai Juozo Paukštelio romano Kaimynai antrajame, pokariniame, leidime (1956) ir pirmą kartą skelbiami faktai, leidžiantys paaiškinti pataisų aplinkybes. Straipsnio tikslas - remiantis dokumentine medžiaga, atsižvelgiant į strategines sovietmečio užmačias, nustatyti taisymų priežastis bei tikslus ir palyginti, kaip šie taisymai pakeitė prieškario Lietuvos kaimo gyvenimo interpretaciją. Restauruojant sovietmečio literatūrinio gyvenimo vaizdą, siekiama prisidėti kuriant įvairesnius bei tolerantiškesnius jo vertinimo kelius.

ENThe article analyzes the changes in the post-second world war edition (1956) of Juozas Paukštelis’ (1899-1981) novel Kaimynai (Neighbours, first published in 1939). It is aimed to reveal the causes and purposes of numerous text emendations and their impact on the interpretation of the inter-war Lithuanian country life. The investigation takes into account the cultural policy of the Soviet time and for the first time refers to the archival documents that help us to trace and understand Paukštelis’ decisions. The comparative textual and historical analysis of the rewritten novel contributes to the creation of a more diverse and tolerant attitude towards the literary landscape of that period.
