Applying management theory to the analysis of the life of various human communities

LTVadybos teorija buvo sukurta studijuojant gamybinę pramonės įmonių veiklą. Antroje praėjusio šimtmečio pusėje išryškėjo teorijos netinkamumas paslaugų organizacijoms ir ji buvo papildyta kai kuriais specialiais elementais. Tačiau yra daugybė organizacijų ir kitų žmonių bendruomenių, kuriose galima efektyviai pritaikyti vadybos teorijos nuostatas. Pagrindiniai šio straipsnio tikslai yra identifikuoti galimybes ir būdus kaip galima panaudoti vadybos teorijos dėsnius ir principus skirtingų tipų žmonių bendruomenėse. Pirmoje straipsnio dalyje analizuojamos pagrindinės vadybos teorijos koncepcijos ir jų pritaikymas skirtingoms bendruomenėms. Antroje darbo dalyje analizuojamos galimybės pritaikyti vadybos teoriją konkrečioje bendruomenėje. Trečioje straipsnio dalyje aprašomas teorinio vadybos modelio, skirto bendruomenei, kūrimas. Kaip pavyzdys pateikiamas vadybos teorijos panaudojimas šeimos gyvenime. Lietuvos valstybės misijos suformulavimas yra atvejo studija, užbaigianti straipsnį. Autorius daro išvadą, kad vadybos teorija, pagrįsta pramonės įmonių veikla, gali būti sėkmingai naudojama siekiant padidinti įvairių žmonių bendruomenių, kurios turi aiškiai išreikštą bendrą tikslą, veiklos efektyvumą. Teorinis bendruomenės, laikomos organizacija, valdymo modelis turi būti pagrįstas organizacijos kaip sistemos elementų ir tradicinės pramoninės organizacijos elementų skirtumų identifikavimu. ENThe theory of management was developed in the course of studying manufacturing activities of industrial enterprises. The unsuitability of the theory for service providing enterprises became clear in the second half of the 20th c., therefore, it was supplemented with certain special elements. However, there are many organisations and other communities, where provisions of the theory of management can be effectively employed. The main aims of this article are the identification of possibilities and ways of using the dependencies and principles developed by the management theory in different types of human communities. The first part of the article analyses the main concepts of the theory of management and their application in different communities. The second part of the article analyses possibilities for applying the theory of management in a specific community. The third part of the article describes the development of a theoretical model of management aimed at a community. The use of the theory of management in family life is presented as an example. The formulation of the mission of the state of Lithuania is a case study, which is presented at the end of the article. The author concludes that the theory of management, based on activities of industrial enterprises, can be successfully used seeking to increase the operational efficiency of various human communities, which have a clearly defined goal. The theoretical model of a community regarded as an organisation must be grounded on the identification of differences between the elements of the system and the elements of a traditional industrial organisation. The comparison of the practical and theoretical model of management of a community reveals peculiar ways to improve activities of an organisation.
