Senojo geležies amžiaus bendruomenės socialinės struktūros klausimu (Marvelės kapinyno duomenimis)

LTStraipsnio tikslas - pagal laidojimo duomenis atsekti Marvelės senojo geležies amžiaus (SEGA) bendruomenėje užimamas vyro, moters ir vaiko padėtis. Atlikti statistiniai tyrimai atskleidė Marvelės SEGA bendruomenėje egzistavusias tam tikras su įkapių dėjimu susijusias tradicijas, kurios priklausė nuo mirusiojo individo lyties, biologinio amžiaus ir nuo visuomenėje vykusių socialinių procesų. Atskirai Marvelės bendruomenėje neegzistavo tradicijos išskirti jos visuomenės narių socialinį statusą pagal įkapių skaičių skirtingų lyčių ar amžiaus grupių kapuose. Kiekybinės įkapių analizės būdu gauti rezultatai nepatvirtino prielaidos, kad vyresniems individams buvo dedamas didesnis skaičius įkapių. SEGA Marvelės senkapyje vyriškosios ir moteriškosios lyties mirusiųjų palaidojimai aiškiai skiriasi įkapių tipais ir potipiais. Remiantis įkapių kokybinės analizės teikiamais duomenimis galima daryti prielaidą, kad Infans ir Juvenis amžiaus grupių individų bendruomeninė padėtis Marvelės visuomenėje turėjo būti artimesnė moterų socialiniam statusui, o per 20 m. vyrų statusas lyginant su vaikais ir paaugliais iš esmės skyrėsi. Visa tai leidžia manyti, kad SEGA Marvelės bendruomenei buvo būdinga gana stabili socialinė sąranga - asmens padėtis, kiek ją atspindi laidosena, mažai kito per jo gyvenimą. ENThe aim of the article is to identify the social positions of males, females and children in the Old Iron Age Community of Marvelė based on their biological age and gender in the framework of the data provided by the burial ground. The grave goods have been studied by the criteria of quantity and quality. The reliability of results has been calculated by means of the T-test, where p <0, 05 has been chosen as the level of significance. On the basis of the amount of grave goods in the graves of different genders and different age-groups, it has been determined that the community of Marvelė did not observe the tradition of distinguishing the social status of its community members. The hypothesis, according to which more grave goods used to be placed to the graves of senior members of the community, proved to be false. Quality differences between the adult age-groups have not been identified as well. Nevertheless, the grave goods in the graves of the adult males and females clearly diverged. The social position of young children and adolescents in the community of Marvelė resembled the social status of females, whereas the status of adult males was fundamentally different compared to children and adolescents. All that allows presuming that a considerably stable social structure was characteristic of SEGA Marvelė community - as reflected by burial rites, the social status of a person changed very insignificantly in the course of life. Clear differences can only be distinguished in the social roles of males and females. [From the publication]
