ENThis publication provides readers with the history of the school, the former school leaders, teachers and students are remembered. The school life of the last ten years is described: community festivals, traditions, projects, sports activities, achievements of the teachers and students. In 1899 Count D. Zubovas founded a primary school in Bubiai. Within 110 years the location and status of the school have changed. Nowadays children start going to school being three years old. 160 students attend Bubiai basic school and it employs 28 teachers. The school community pays particular attention to the ethno - cultural, sports, artistic activities. Bubiai basic school is a very important local centre of education and culture.
