"Bo Wilno by to zadupiem". Miasto widziane oczami czlonkow Akademickiego Klubu Wloczegow (Czeslawa Milosza, Pawla Jasienicy i Waclawa Korabiewicza)

LTPirmasis straipsnio pavadinimo sakinys yra provokuojantis tik iš dalies, kadangi straipsnyje atskleidžiamas ir provincialus Vilnius įvaizdis, dėl kurio miestas buvo vadinamas "žiurkskyle" ir tuo pačiu metu Vilniaus - šiaurės Jeruzalės - paveikslas, kuomet miestas buvo lyginamas su kitomis garsiomis Europos sostinėmis - Krokuva, Paryžium, Ryga. Svarbu tai, jog Vilniaus provincialumas leido XX a. išlaikyti gyvybingą jungtį su XIX a. kultūra. Tokio kultūrinio tęstinumo atspindys - aktyvi Akademinio Valkatų klubo veikla. Todėl straipsnio autorei atrodo prasminga pažvelgti į Vilnių rašytojų, šio klubo dalyvių – Česlovo Milošo, Pavelo Jasienikos ir Vaclovo Korabievičiaus - akimis.

ENThe first sentence of the title of the article - being a quotation from "To Tomas Venclova" written by Czeslaw Milosz - only in part has a provocative character. Since an aim of the article is to muse over the strange provincialism of Vilnius, the city which was called a "rathole" and at the same time which was compared to Krakow, Paris, Prague and named "Jerusalem of the Nord". On the other hand, the provincialism of Vilnius let in the XX century to hold/establish the lively contact with the culture of the XIX century. The activity of the Academic Club of Tramps is one of the expressions of such a cultural continuity. That seems to be valuable to look at Vilnius with the eyes of writers which recruited from its rows themselves.
