E. Glemžaitės-Dulaitienės knygos "Kupiškėnų senovė" pažintinė išliekamoji vertė

LTRecenzijoje pristatoma Elvyros Glemžaitės-Dulaitienės knyga "Kupiškėnų senovė. Etnografija ir tautosaka" (Vilnius, 1958). Recenzijos autorės nuomone, su tam tikromis išlygomis E. Glemžaitės-Dulaitienės knygą galima būtų laikyti XX a. lietuvių kalba rašytų lokalinių kraštotyros monografijų pirmtake. Šioje knygoje, anot recenzentės, "iš daugelio kitų pateikėjų gyvenimo trupinėlių sudėliotas įvairialypis, turiningas ir turtingas Kupiškio krašto paprotynas". Recenzijos autorės nuomone, pažintinė išliekamoji knygos vertė yra ne tik tekstų įvairovė bei originalumas, bet ir jų tinkamumas edukacinei veiklai – įvairias knygos situacijas galima ne tik nupasakoti, bet ir gražiai suvaidinti, sužaisti, padarant informaciją patrauklią įvairaus amžiaus, įvairaus pasirengimo skaitytojams arba klausytojams. Recenzentės nuomone, mūsų dienomis ši knyga jau tapo bibliografine retenybe, tad jau laikas jos leidimą pakartoti. Bet, kaip teigia recenzentė, palyginus rankraščius su knygos tekstais, prisiminus jos leidimo metus, matyti, jog ne viskas iš sukaupto per gyvenimą lobyno išėjo viešumon, ne viskas pateikta taip, kaip priderėtų, kaip, ko gero, būtų pageidavusi pati autorė. Todėl pasiryžus rengti naują knygos leidimą, reikėtų kur kas kruopščiau ištyrinėti ne tik tautosakos ir etnografinių aprašų rinkinius, esančius Lietuvių tautosakos archyve, bet ir spaudai rengtus rankraščius, redakcinius variantus, kad naujas spausdinti paruoštas tekstas atitiktų istorinę teisybę, etnokultūros paveldo pažinimo poreikius ir pačios autorės valią, kurios galbūt anuomet ji negalėjo tiesiai išsakyti.

ENThe review presents the book Kupiškėnų senovė. Etnografija ir tautosaka (en. The Antiquity of Kupiškis’ People. Ethnography and Folklore) by Elvyra Glemžaitė-Dulaitienė (Vilnius, 1958). According to the review, with some exceptions, the book of E. Glemžaitė Dulaitienė can be regarded as a precursor of the monographs on local regional studies written in the Lithuanian language in the 20th century. According to the reviewer, there is “a diverse, rich and wealthy depository of customs of Kupiškis land arranged from a number of life crumbs of other presenters” in this book. In the review author’s view, the lasting educational value of the book lies not only in diversity and originality of its texts, but also in their relevance for educational activities: a range of situations presented in the book can be not only described but also well role-played, arranged in a game by making the information more attractive for readers or listeners of all ages and different background. As the reviewer argues, today, this book has already become a bibliographical rarity, so it's time to release another edition of the book. However, according to the reviewer, comparison of the manuscript with texts of the book, given the year of its publication, shows that not all of the treasure accumulated over a lifetime came to the fore, not everything was presented in the way it should be and in the way as the author, perhaps, would have preferred. Thus, if committed to develop a new edition of the book, it would be worth exploring more thoroughly not only the collections of folklore and ethnographic descriptions held in the Lithuanian Folklore Archive, but also manuscripts and editorial versions in preparation for publication, in order the new text prepared to be published would be in line with the historical truth, need for learning ethno-cultural heritage and the will of the author herself, which may not be expressed straight by her these times.
