Istorinės erdvės beieškant

LTRegioninės istorijos mokslo šaltinių publikacijoje pateikti XVI–XVIII a. Krinčino miestelio (Pasvalio r.) ir aplinkinių kaimų – tuometinės Krinčino valdos – dokumentai, pirmąsyk paskelbti ir išversti iš senųjų gudų, rusų, lenkų ir lotynų kalbų. Išleisti trys (antroji knygelė yra papildytas ir nemažai pakeistas pirmosios knygelės leidimas) nedidelės apimties dokumentų rinkiniai su pastabomis, komentarais, archaizmų, istorizmų ir svetimžodžių žodynėliais. Trečiojoje knygelėje skelbiami Krinčino miestelio (vaitįjos, valdos, parapijos, valsčiaus, seniūnijos) dokumentai, kurie patenka į Didžiosios Lietuvos Kunigaikštystės gyvavimo laikotarpį. Rinkinio rengėjas pastebi, kad su vietovės istorija susijusių dokumentų – aktų, inventorių, vizitacijų – labai daug, ir vos ne visi jie ganėtinai įdomus ir vertingi, tačiau dėl ribotų techninių ir kitokių galimybių publikuojami tik įdomiausi ir tie, kurie pateikia įvairesnį to meto gyvenimo vaizdą nuo seniausio šaltinio – 1554 m. kaimiečių asmenvardžių ir j ų valakų iki valstybės žlugimo 1795 m. Tekstai verčiami nenutolstant nuo originalo, bet stengiantis, kad jie būtų suprantami šiandieniniam žmogui. Dalis tekstų rašyti ne viena kalba: pasitaiko kitos kalbos pastraipų, žodžių, atkeliavusių apyvarton iš vokiečių, prancūzų kalbų, lotynų ir lenkų kalbų kaitaliojimų. Vertimuose tokie intarpai neišskirti. Originalų tekstai perrašant netaisyti.

ENThe publication of sources of regional historical studies presents the documents of the 16th–18th c. town of Krinčinas (Pasvalys District) and the adjacent villages (the then domain of Krinčinas), which were published and translated from the old Belarusian, Russian, Polish and Latin for the first time. Three small collections of documents (the second book is a supplemented and revised edition of the first book) with remarks, comments and glossaries of archaisms, historicisms and loan words were published. The third book publishes the documents of the town (woytowstwo, domain, parish, volost, township) of Krinčinas, which are dated to the period of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The compiler notes that there are very many documents – acts, inventories, visitations – related to the history of the locality, and almost all of them are quite interesting and valuable; however, due to limited technical and other possibilities only the most interesting documents have been chosen as well as those that give a versatile picture of contemporary life from the oldest source – the proper names of villagers and their valakas (land measuring units) in 1554 to the collapse of the state in 1795. The texts are translated without diverting from the original, yet making them understandable to the present-day man. Some texts were written in more than one language: there might be paragraphs in another language, words borrowed from German and French as well as alternations between Latin and Polish. These insertions are not highlighted in translations. The texts of originals were copied without any corrections.
