1965-ųjų akimirkos su Simone de Beauvoir ir Jeanu Pauliu Sartre'u

LTLietuvos kultūros istorija besidomintiems yra žinoma, kad 1965 m. vasarą Lietuvoje lankėsi prancūzų filosofai ir rašytojai Simone de Beauvoir ir Jeanas Paulis Sartre'as. Šis vizitas, neturėjęs reikšmės Beauvoir ir Sartre'ui, buvo ir tebėra suvokiamas kaip reikšmingas Lietuvos visuomenei: okupuotą, užsieniečiams uždarą šalį aplankė pasaulinio garso intelektualai. Straipsnio tikslas - remiantis to meto spaudos duomenimis ir vėliau pasirodžiusiais prisiminimais rekonstruoti šios viešnagės detales, aptarti atsiminimuose fiksuojamus faktus ir jų interpretacijas, t.y. siekiama ne "atkurti tiesą" ("teisingą pasakojimą"), bet analizuoti, kaip ir kodėl lietuvių intelektualai vertino šj vizitą. Kitaip sakant, ieškoti atsakymų, ką ši viešnagė kalba dabar apie mūsų mąstymą, vertybes. Straipsnyje remiamasi lietuvių rašytojų (Mykolo Sluckio, Halinos Korsakienės), fotografo Antano Sutkaus atsiminimais, mokslininkų, menininkų vertinimais, taip pat aptariamas Beauvoir ir Sartre'o viešnagės atšvaitas grožinėje literatūroje. Stabtelima ir prie Beauvoir prisiminimų knygoje Viską apsvarsčius (Toul compte fait, 1972) pasirodžiusio epizodo apie kelionę į Lietuvą.

ENThe article is devoted to the episode related to the summer of 1965 when French philosophers and writers Simone de Beauvoir and fean Paul Sartre visited Lithuania. The aim of this study is not so much reconstruction of the details of this visit on the basis of the data from printed media of that time, and memoir, which appeared later, or discussion based on the facts in the memoir as reconstruction of worldview of Lithuanian intellectuals, and their self-reflection, and attitudes to the others, which appear in the reminiscences. In other words, the aim is to reconstruct the views and attitudes of the cultural elite of Soviet Lithuanian society at that time using the reminiscences reflecting meetings with the guests. In the analysis of the meaning of this visit such material as reminiscences of Lithuanian writers, namely Mykolas Sluckis, Halina Korsakienė, photographer Antanas Sutkus, conclusions of scientists and artists are used. Reflection of Beauvoir and Sartre's visit in the fiction, namely poetry of Eduardas Mieželaitis and prose of Jurgis Kunčinas, is an object of discussion as well. Some attempts are devoted to focus on the Beauvoir's memoir book "Tout compte fait" (1972) where there is an episode devoted to the journey to Lithuania.
