Summary / Abstract:

LTRemiantis suformuotu sociologinio tyrimo instrumentarijumi atlikta profesinių pakenkimų (nelaimingų atsitikimų darbe ir diagnozuotų profesinių ligų) analizė transporto įmonėse ir įvertintas DSS teisės aktų, parengtų pagal Europos Sąjungos teisės aktus įgyvendinimas transporto įmonėse. Atliktas darbas įgalino parengti rekomendacijas steigiamoms modernizuotoms darbo vietoms ir darbo priemonėms, siekiant, kad jos atitiktų DSS teisės aktų reikalavimus, bei rekomendacijos dėl traumatizmo prevencijos transporto įmonėse tobulinimo ir šį darbą reglamentuojančių dokumentų tobulinimo, įvertinant sąryšį su esama DSS būkle įmonėse.

ENThe safety and health of employees in the country is defined by the number of professional harms. In the recent years the number of accidents bounded with work is decreasing, however it is still bigger than in other European countries. The number of accidents in Lithuanian Republic transport companies is two times and the number of heavy accidents is five times bigger than in other branches of economy. The main aim of this scientific survey is to analyse the current state of safety and health of the employees as well as the implementation of law acts in the transport companies, which were prepared according to the European Union law acts. During the survey course, it was tried to reach these concretized aims: to determine the reasons of accidents and work trouble in the transport companies; to analyse the accordance with DSS law acts; to prepare the means for improving the work conditions and for full implementation of the demands in the law acts in the transport companies. The object of the survey - safety and health improvement in Lithuanian transport companies during the period of 1998-2002. Agreeably to the task, the taxi and specialized transport companies were not included in the survey. The subject of the survey - safety and health condition in the transport companies and the factors that stipulate it.The main hypothesis - the transport, as an enlarged danger of employees' safety and health activity, demands systemic preventive influence. The analysis, sociological poll, the experts' assessment, observation and strategical modelling methods were used in the survey as well as the data bases of LR State Labour Inspectorate and LR Department of Statistics, which were created for this survey in particular. The following main results were achieved when implementing the task of the survey: the professional harm analysis in the transport companies was prepared, the implementation of employees safety and health law acts prepared according to the EU law acts in the transport companies was evaluated, the recommendations for the established modernised work places and work tools were prepared by way of them to correspond to the employees safety and health demands of law acts, the recommendations for the improving the traumatism prevention in transport companies were prepared as well as for the improving the documentation that regulates this job. It was done by evaluating the connection with the current state of employees safety and health in the companies.
