"Istoriškumo koeficientas" – sociokritikos objektas

LTTai Petro Bražėno parašytos monografijos „Juozo Apučio kūryba“ (2007) recenzija. Bražėno darbas – pirmoji išsami studija apie Juozą Aputį ir jo darbus. Monografijoje pirmą kartą aprėpta ir įvertinta visa aputiana. Tai svarbus kultūros faktas ir tvirtas pagrindas bei paskata naujiems, kitokiems darbams. Humanistinės Apučio kūrybos vertybės fokusuoja tyrėjo žvilgsnį į mažiausiai sovietmečiu ideologijos pažeistą žmogiškumo domeną ir žodžio meną. Tyrėjas neišvengia analizės metodo apibrėžties ir taikymo problemos, tad aptariamos monografijos pobūdį nusako ne kokia teorija ar tyrimo metodas, bet pats objektas – Apučio fenomenas – ir visuminiai jo interpretatoriaus Bražėno literatūros nagrinėjimo įgūdžiai, įgyti per keliasdešimt metų. Studijoje dominuoja klasikinės estetikos ir literatūrologijos sąvokos ir tyrimo būdai. Bražėnas interpretuoja Aputį nuolat atsižvelgdamas į tas sąlygas ir aplinkybes, kuriomis tekstai buvo kuriami, spausdinami (arba sulaikomi). Monografijos struktūra logiška, nors itin netikėtai pradedama nuo labiau marginalinių rašytojo raiškos sferų (kritikos, redaktoriavimo, eseistikos) ir einama prie strateginių (novelių ir apysakų). Labai pavykusiomis laikytinos pirmosios dalys apie rašytoją ir jo laiką, apie Aputį-kritiką. Svarbūs yra už Apučio teksto esančių istorinių realijų komentarai, šifravimas – to niekas kitas nebepadarytų. Nors žinomų dalykų kartojimu dvelkia ir todėl vargina noveles interpretuojantis skyrius „Kelios proskynos novelistikos girioje“, monografija visiškai įtikina, kad Aputis yra lietuvių klasikų kanono autorius.

ENThe review concerns the monograph “Juozo Apučio kūryba” [The Works of Juozas Aputis] by Petras Bražėnas (2007). This is the first extensive study about Juozas Aputis and his works. The monograph for the first time covers and evaluates all works of Aputis. It is an important cultural fact and a strong basis as well as stimulus for new, other kind of works. The humanist values of the works of Aputis make the researcher focus on the human domain and the art of word that were least affected by the Soviet ideology. The researcher cannot escape the definition of the analysis method and the problem of application, thus the character of the monograph is described not by a theory or research method, but by the object – the phenomenon of Aputis – and the holistic skills of literary research acquired by his interpreter Bražėnas over decades. The notions and research methods of classical aesthetics and literary science prevail in the study. Bražėnas interprets Aputis taking constant account of those conditions and circumstances under which the texts were created and printed (or withheld). The structure of the monograph is logic, although the study very unexpectedly starts with more marginal spheres of the writer’s expression (criticism, editorial work, essays) and moves to strategic spheres (novellas and stories). The first parts about the writer and his time, about Aputis as a critic seem to be very successful. The comments and decoding of historical realia beyond Aputis’ text are important – nobody else can do it now. Although the chapter “Several clearings in the novella woods” repeats already familiar things and is tedious, the monograph fully convinces that Aputis is the author of the canon of Lithuanian classics.
