Peculiarities of manifestation of problem solver competence in population of teachers and teachers-in future

LTPripažinus asmens atsakingumo svarbą, jau mokykloje būtina sukurti efektyvią šios asmenybės savybės ugdymo sistemą. Viena iš kokybiško šio tikslo realizavimo sąlygų yra paties mokytojo problemų sprendimo kompetencija, t.y. gebėjimas spręsti problemas savarankiškai ir atsakingai. Tyrimo tikslas – išsiaiškinti mokytojų gebėjimo spręsti problemas ir jų atsakingumo išsivystymo lygį. Mokytojų atsakingumo išsivystymo lygis buvo tirtas vertinant įvairių mokytojo gebėjimo spręsti problemas komponentų išsivystymo lygį. Šie komponentai buvo išskirti remiantis įvairių mokslininkų idėjomis. Tyrimo rezultatų analizė parodė, kad respondentų atsakingumo ir problemų sprendimo kompetencijų lygis nėra pakankamas, t.y. jis yra tik vidutinis. Mažiausiai išvystyti yra su šiuolaikiniais mokytojo vaidmenimis susiję gebėjimai: gebėjimas spręsti problemas kūrybiškai ir kritiškai; kompensuoti kai kurių savo gebėjimų trūkumus ir kt. Kitų gebėjimų lygis – gebėjimų, susijusių su tradiciniais mokytojo vaidmenimis (gebėjimas pažinti ir įvertinti situaciją ir save; vykdyti į(si)pareigojimus gerai ir laiku ir kt.) – yra aukštesnis. Apskritai, mokytojų atsakingumo ir problemų sprendimo kompetencijos lygis nėra patenkinamas. Kadangi egzistuoja tiesioginis ryšys tarp mokytojo turimų savybių ir kompetencijų ir mokinių įgytų savybių ir kompetencijų, yra būtina ugdyti mokytojų atsakingumą ir problemų sprendimo kompetenciją siekiant aukštesnės mokinių atsakingumo ugdymo kokybės. ENWhile admitting the importance of personal responsibility, it is necessary to develop an effective system for developing this personal feature while at school. One of the main factors for the successful fulfilment of this goal is the teacher’s ability to make decisions, that is, to possess the ability to independently and responsibly solve problems. The aim of the research is to find out how teachers solve problems and the level of their responsibility. The level of teachers’ responsibility was analyzed by taking different components of the ability to solve problems. These components were selected because they were distinguished by different scientists. The analysis of the research showed that the level of respondents’ responsibility and the ability to solve problems is rather average than satisfactory. The least developed are the abilities related to the modern role of a teacher – the ability to solve problems in a critical and creative way, the ability to show best character features and to hide their vice. The level of other abilities related to the traditional roles of a teacher (familiarising with the situation, fulfilling their duties well and on time etc.) is higher. On the whole, the level of the competence of teachers´ responsibility and problem solving is not satisfactory. Since teachers’ and pupils’ abilities and competencies are closely related, it is necessary to develop the responsibility of teachers and the competence to solve problems in order to acquire a higher quality of developing pupils’ responsibility.
