Teminis anglų-vokiečių-lietuvių kalbų verslo žodynas

LTTeminis verslo žodynas – tai trikalbis anglų-vokiečių-lietuvių kalbų žodynas, skirtas visiems, kurių darbas ar studijos skatina nuolatos domėtis naujausiais verslo terminais, ieškoti tikslesnio žodžio ar junginio vertimo. Žodyne pateikiama daugiau kaip 3000 anglų verslo kalbos terminų, suskirstytų pagal temas ir potemes, ir jų atitikmenys vokiečių bei lietuvių kalbomis. Terminų paiešką palengvina visų trijų kalbų abėcėlinės rodyklės. Žodyno vartotojams labai naudingi prie kiekvieno termino pateikiami pavyzdžiai. Jie padeda geriau suprasti termino vartojimo kontekstą, be to, juose atsispindi didelė verslo kalbos raiškos priemonių ir stilių įvairovė. Šie pavyzdžiai išversti į vokiečių ir lietuvių kalbas ne nurodant originalo kalbos terminų pažodinius atitikmenis, o vartojant turinį atitinkančius vertimo kalbai būdingus žodžių junginius. Teminį verslo žodyną sudarė dr. Herbert Geisen ir dr. Dieter Hamblock, Bochumo Rūro universiteto (Vokietija) mokslininkai, daugelio dalykinės kalbos knygų ir žodynų autoriai. Rengiant lietuviškąją žodyno dalį remtasi šiuo metu Lietuvos Respublikos civiliniame kodekse, įstatymuose ir Europos Sąjungos teisės aktų vertimuose į lietuvių kalbą vartojamais terminais. Taigi žodyne nurodytais lietuviškaisiais atitikmenimis galima pasitikėti, nepaisant to, kad lietuviškoji verslo terminija dar nėra nusistovėjusi ir gali keistis.

ENThe thematic business dictionary is a trilingual English–German–Lithuanian dictionary intended for everyone, whose work or studies encourage their constant interest in business terms and search for a more exact translation of a word or a word combination. The dictionary contains over 3,000 English business terms grouped according to themes and subthemes, their German and Lithuanian equivalents. The search for terms is facilitated by the trilingual alphabetic indexes. Each term is accompanied with examples of use, what is very useful for dictionary users. They help better understand the context in which a given term is used, and they also reflect the vast variety of business language means and styles. These examples are translated into German and Lithuanian languages without indicating word by word equivalents of the source language, but by using word combinations characteristic of the target language and corresponding to the content of the text. The thematic business dictionary was compiled by the scientists of the Dr. Herbert Geisen and Dieter Hamblock from Bochum Ruhr University (Germany), who are the authors of many business language books and dictionaries. When compiling the Lithuanian part of the dictionary, the authors based their work on the terms used in the current Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania, the laws and translations of legal acts of the European Union. Therefore, the Lithuanian equivalents contained in the dictionary are reliable, irrespective of the fact that Lithuanian business terminology is not deeply rooted yet and may change.
