Šiuolaikinis lietuvių teatras - teatrališkumo triumfas ir gyvenimo metaforos

LTXX a. 10 dešimtmečio pradžioje netekęs iškirtinės visuomenėje funkcijos ir kelerius metus išgyvenęs adresato krizę, per dešimtmetį lietuvių teatras ėmė vis dažniau orientuotis į konkrečias socialines bendrijas ar atliepti įvairesnius vartotojiškus prioritetus. Jungdamas komerciškumą ir meniškumą, pramoginę ir kritinę funkcijas, teatras siekia susigrąžinti prarastą visuomenės dėmesį ir tapti reikalinga bendros sociokultūrinės erdvės dalimi. Kaip tokių teatro paieškų pavyzdžiai aptariami režisierių J. Vaitkaus, E. Nekrošiaus, O. Koršunovo ir G. Varno spektakliai, kuriuose mezgamas savitas dialogas su žiūrovais. Straipsnyje išskiriamas lietuvių teatro vizualumas kaip dominuojanti meninė kryptis, akcentuojant kiekvieno minėtų režisierių teatro savitumą, stilių ir vaizdų prigimtį. Pabrėždama šių menininkų posūkį universalesnės, kosmopolitiškesnės teatro kalbos link, autorė jį sieja ne tik su sovietinės sistemos žlugimu, bet ir naujų visuomeninių bei ekonominių santykių formavimusi po 1990 metų, atsivėrusia tarptautine meno rinka, XX a. pabaigos kultūros ir meno pokyčiais. Būtent pastarieji turi įtakos mobilesnių spektaklio formų atsiradimui, raiškos dinamikai, meninės transgresijos bandymams, kurie padeda teatrui įveikti skirtingus etninius ir kalbinius barjerus, ir funkcionuoti bendrame tarpkultūriniame kontekste. XX a. 10 dešimtmečio pabaigoje lietuvių režisierių spektakliai grindžiami ne žodžio, bet vaizdo kalba, kuri paverčia spektaklį savotiška "rašto erdve", skirta ne interpretuoti dramaturginį tekstą, bet kurti jį kaip savarankišką atlikėjų bei žiūrovų diskursą. ENDuring a decade the Lithuanian theatre, which was deprived of its exceptional social function in the beginning of the nineties of the 20th century and experienced a crisis of target for several years, started to orient itself to specific social communities or respond to more diverse consumer priorities. By joining the commerce and art, the entertainment and critical functions, the theatre makes attempts to get back the lost attention from the society and become an important part of the common socio-cultural environment. Among the examples of such theatrical quests the performances of J. Vaitkus, E. Nekrošius, O. Koršunovas and G. Varnas, which establish a peculiar dialogue with the audience, are discussed. The article distinguishes the visuality of Lithuanian theatre as the dominant art direction, emphasizing the peculiarity, style and visual nature of the theatre of each of the aforementioned directors. By stressing the turn of the said artists towards a more universal and cosmopolitan theatrical language, the author relates it both with the downfall of the Soviet system and with formation of the new social and economic relations after 1990, the opened international theatre market and the changes in culture and art, which occurred at the end of the 20th century and which influenced the emergence of a more mobile forms of the performance, dynamism of expression, art transgression attempts, which help the theatre to overcome the different ethnic and linguistic barriers and function in the common intercultural context. Lithuanian theatre performances of the end of the nineties of the 20th century are based on image rather by word and the image turns the performance into a “writing space”, intended not for interpretation of a dramaturgic text, but for its development in the form of an independent discourse, performed by both actors and the audience.
