Iš naujo atrandamas Vilnius

LTRecenzijoje aptariama Mindaugo Kvietkausko monografija "Vilniaus literatūrų kontrapunktai. Ankstyvasis modernizmas 1904--1915" (Vilnius: Lietuvos rašytojų sąjungos leidykla, 2007). Recenzijos autoriaus teigimu, knygos autorius perskaitė ir aprašė XX a. pradžios Vilniaus (lietuvių, lenkų, žydų, baltarusių ir rusų) literatūrinius tekstus, kurie iki šiol lietuvių literatūros istorijos buvo visiškai netyrinėti arba tyrinėti labai mažai. Todėl Kvietkausko monografiją derėtų anotuoti ne kaip "tikrą naujieną", bet kaip pagaliau atliktą, jau kur kas anksčiau turėjusį pasirodyti literatūros tyrimą. Recenzento nuomone, knyga suteikia dviejų rūšių skaitymo džiaugsmo. Viena vertus, smalsu skaityti apie nelietuvių Vilniaus autorių gyvenimą ir veiklą šiame mieste, susipažinti su pateikiamomis jų kūrinių interpretacijomis. Kita vertus, į monografijos svarstymų lauką patenkantys žinomi reiškiniai interpretuojami kitaip, parodomos ligi šiol nematytos sąsajos bei reikšmės. Recenzijos autoriaus manymu, aptariamoji monografija skatina ir iš naujo permąstyti regimai aiškius dalykus, perbraižyti savumo ir svetimumo ribas kultūriniame Vilniaus žemėlapyje. Nors recenzijos autorius išsako ir priekaištų, pavyzdžiui, dėl neaiškių kriterijų, kuriais remiantis buvo atrinkti monografijoje aprašomi autoriai, dėl neidealiai sutvarkytų tekstų aprašymo priemonių (citavimo būdų, nuorodų, literatūros sąrašo ir kt.), vis dėlto, jo nuomone, Kvietkausko "Vilniaus literatūrų kontrapunktai" yra labai svarbi ir reikšminga lietuvių literatūros istorijos monografija.

ENThe review deals with Mindaugas Kvietkauskas monograph "Counterpoints of Vilnius literatures. Early Modernism: 1904 - 1915" (Vilnius: published by the Union of Lithuanian writers, 2007). According to the author's comments, the author of a book read and described the literary Vilnius’ texts of the beginning of the twentieth century (Lithuanian, Polish, Jewish, Belarusian and Russian), which have not been studied at all or have only been studied a little by the history of Lithuanian literature so far. It is therefore appropriate to annotate the monograph by Kvietkauskas not as "real news", but as finally completed, the literature study which already had to appear much formerly. In reviewer's opinion, the book offers two types of reading pleasure. On the one part, it is curious to read about the life and work of non-Lithuanian Vilnius authors in this city, to get introduced to the interpretations of their works provided. On the other part, the known phenomena falling into the field of reflection field in the monograph are interpreted differently; hitherto unseen interface and value are shown. According to the author of review, the monograph under consideration impels to rethink visibly clear things, to redefine again the boundaries of peculiarities and foreignness on the cultural map of Vilnius. Although the author of review also expresses the criticism, such as unclear criteria for the selection of the monograph which have been used to describe the authors, because of imperfectly arranged tools for the description of text (forms of citation, references, bibliography, etc.), however, in his view, "Counterpoints of Vilnius literatures" by Kvietkauskas is a very important and significant monograph of Lithuanian literature history.
