Naujausi XVI-XVIIIa. Vilniaus meno istorijos tyrimai
LTStraipsnyje apžvelgiamos per pastaruosius penkerius metus pasirodžiusios mokslinės publikacijos, skirtos senajai Vilniaus dailei ir architektūrai. Aptariama kelių dešimčių monografijų ir straipsnių problematika. Tarp jų gausa ir naujumu išsiskiria Baroko epochos dailės kūriniams, konkrečiau - vienuolijų aplinkoje kurtai dailei, skirtos studijos. Apžvelgiami ir atskiriems dailininkams bei architektams, pasaulietiniams meno objektams, miesto meniniam gyvenimui ir kitiems meno istorijos klausimams skirti moksliniai darbai. Apžvelgus pastarojo penkmečio Vilniaus meno tyrimus galima pastebėti, kad dar reta apibendrinančių miesto meno istorijos tyrimų. Monografiniuose leidiniuose Vilniaus meno objektai aptariami tam tikros meno šakos raidos (pvz., sienų tapybos) ar tam tikros vienuolijos meno kontekste. Menkiau dėmesio pastaraisiais metais skiriama architektūros tyrimui. Tuo tarpu bažnytinės dailės tyrimai pasižymi nuodugnia vienuolijos dvasingumo tradicijos ir istorinių sąlygų analize. Tebėra menkai ištirti pasaulietiniai statiniai, miestiečių meninė kultūra. Greta miestiečių ir miestiečiams kuriamo meno tyrinėjimų aktuali lieka naujų miesto vizualinių šaltinių paieška. Plačiau tyrinėtina ir amatų istorija. Galima pastebėti, kad meno istorikų tyrimai nemenkai praplečia žinias ne tik apie mieste esančius meno objektus, bet ir apie jų "funkcionavimą" mieste: per fundacijų ir užsakymų, stebuklų aprašymų, miestų švenčių tyrimą atskleidžiamas įvairių miesto gyventojų religinis gyvenimas, kultūrinės aspiracijos, kasdienis gyvenimas.
ENThe article provides an overview of the researches, which appeared during the previous five years, dedicated to the old Vilnius art and architecture and discusses the issues, pertaining to several tens of monographs and articles. Among them the studies, dedicated to the works of art of the Baroque period, especially the art, created in monasteries stand out in terms of their number and originality. The researches, dedicated to individual artists and architects, secular art objects, the city’s artistic life and other issues, pertaining to the history of art are also overviewed. Upon reviewing the studies of the art of Vilnius, performed during the previous five years one can notice that the summarizing studies of the history of the city’s art are still not frequent. The monographs discuss the Vilnius art objects in the context of development of a certain branch (for instance, mural painting) or the art of the specific monkhood. Less attention during the later years has been dedicated to studies of architecture while the studies of church art characterize with comprehensive analysis of the monkhood’s godliness tradition and the historical conditions. The secular buildings and the city residents’ artistic culture are still insufficiently studied. Apart from the studies of the art, created by and for the city residents the searches for the new visual sources of the city still remain relevant. The history of crafts is also more broadly studied. One can notice that art historians’ studies significantly extend the knowledge of both the objects of art, existing in the city and their “functioning” in the city: the studies of foundations and orders, descriptions of miracles and festivities in the city reveal the information on the religious life of different city residents, their cultural aspirations and their everyday life.
