Biržų - Dubingių šakos didikų Radvilų reikšmė Biržų miestui (biržiečių istorinė sąmonė)

LTStraipsnio objektas - viena didžiausių ir galingiausių LDK didikų Radvilų giminės Biržų-Dubingių šakos atstovai ir jų vaizdinys lokalios biržiečių visuomenės istorinėje sąmonėje. Tikslas - išsiaiškinti, koks (ir kiek stipriai) didikų Radvilų įvaizdis formuojamas biržiečių istorinėje sąmonėje, kaip jis kito nuo XX a. pr. iki pačios XXI a. pr. ir suvokti, kaip šią lokalią visuomenę veikia socialinės ir kultūrinės praeities raiškos dabartyje formos. Tyrimo metodai: dokumentų, mokslinių tekstų, periodikos analizė, kultūrinių istorinių renginių apžvalga, anketinė apklausa, statistinė analizė. Tyrimas atliktas 2004-2005 metais. Respondentai - Biržų miesto gyventojai. Iš viso apklausti 144 respondentai. Amžiaus spektras platus - jauniausiam apklaustajam - 9 metai, vyriausiam - 60 metų. Anketa "Didikai Radvilos ir Biržų pilis biržiečių istorinėje sąmonėje" sudaryta iš dešimties klausimų. Ja siekta išsiaiškinti respondentų istorines žinias, asmeninį suvokimą, vertybes, požiūrį į savo miesto praeitį, dabarties kultūrinio gyvenimo lygį. Išvados pateikiamos straipsnio pabaigoje.

ENThe subject of the article is the representatives of the Biržai – Dubingiai branch of one of the most powerful noble families of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, i. e. the Radziwill family and their image in the historical conscious of the local community of Biržai. The aim is to identify the image of the Radziwill family (and its extent), shaped in the historical conscious of the residents of Biržai and the way it changed from the beginning of the 20th century till the very beginning of the 21st century and to comprehend the ways the local community is influenced by the shapes of expression of the social and cultural past in the present times. The following methods of study were employed: analysis of documents, scientific texts and periodical publications, overviews of cultural historical events, questionnaire surveys and statistical analysis. The study was performed in 2004-2005. The respondents – the residents of Biržai town. Totally 144 respondents were surveyed. The range of age of the respondents was rather broad: the youngest respondent was 9, the oldest – 60 years old. The questionnaire "Didikai Radvilos ir Biržų Pilis Biržiečių Istorinėje Sąmonėje" includes ten questions. The aim of the questionnaire is to establish the respondents’ knowledge of history, personal perception, values, view of the past of their town and the level of the present-day cultural life.
