LTStraipsnio tema -- tematinių Oskaro Milašiaus eilėraščio "Danse de singe" linijų perteikimas vertime. Straipsnio tikslas -- prasmės perteikimo tikslumo kaip vertimo rezultato analizė, tiriant abu iš prancūzų į lietuvių kalbą išverstus eilėraščius. Norėdama ištirti, ar verstas tekstas ištikimas originalo teksto prasmei, straipsnio autorė pasirinko tam tikrus tyrimo būdus analizuoti du Oskaro Milašiaus eilėraščio "Danse de singe" vertimus į lietuvių kalbą (vertė Antanas Vaičiulaitis ir Vaclovas Šiugždinis), lygindami juos su Oskaro Milašiaus eilėraščio originalu. Šie du vertimai yra straipsnio tyrimų objektas. Taikomas lyginamasis ir aprašomieji metodai. Po analizės straipsnio autorė daro išvadą, kad pirmajame vertime daug šnekamosios kalbos, kurios originale nėra,o antrajame vertime vartojama knyginė kalba. Šiuo aspektu antrasis vertimas ištikimesnis originalo prasmei. Dėl netinkamo leksinių atitikmenų parinkimo bei pragmatinių reikšmių perteikimo problemų lietaus ir muzikos tematinės linijos nė viename vertime nesukuria tos aplinkos, kurią sukūrė O. Milašius savo eilėraštyje. Todėl straipsnio autorė mano, kad nė vienas iš dviejų vertimų neperteikia originalo prasmės, netgi iškraipo ją. Lietuviški eilėraščiai "Beždžionės šokis" nėra tikri ištikimi prancūziško eilėraščio "Danse de singe" vertimai.
ENThe subject of the article is the conveyance of the thematic lines in Oscar Milosz’s poem "Danse de singe" in translation. The article aims at providing of the analysis of the accuracy of conveyance of meaning as the result of translation when translating both poems, translated from French into Lithuanian. When wishing to establish whether the translated text reflects the meaning of the original text, the author of the article has chosen certain ways for analyzing two translations of Oscar Milosz’s poem "Danse de singe" into Lithuanian (by Antanas Vaičiulaitis and Vaclovas Šiugždinis), comparing them with the original text of the poem. The two translations are the subject of the article. The comparative and descriptive methods are applied. After performing the analysis the author of the article comes up to the conclusion that the first translation contains too much spoken language, which is absent in the original text and the second translation uses the bookish language. In this aspect the second translation is more reflecting the meaning of the original text. Due to the improper selection of lexical equivalents and the problems, pertaining to conveyance of pragmatic meanings, in neither of the translations the lines of rain and music create the mood, developed by Oscar Milosz in his poem. Therefore the author of the article is of the opinion that neither of the two translations conveys the meaning of the original text, they even corrupt it. The Lithuanian poems "Beždžionės šokis" are not proper translations of the French poem "Danse de singe".
