Penktasis tautinio kostiumo abumas
LTTeresė Jurkuvienė, nuo 1983 m. dirbdama Lietuvos moksliniame metodiniame kultūros centre (vėliau - Lietuvos liaudies kultūros centras), Kultūros, filosofijos ir meno institute ir tyrinėdama lietuvių liaudies dailę, daugiausia domėjosi lietuvių liaudies kostiumu. Vadovaudama projektui "Lietuvių liaudies kostiumo rekonstrukcijos", ji kartu su Danute Keturakiene ir Laisve Ašmonaitiene sukūrė tautinio kostiumo kolekciją (87 vienetai). Jos pagrindu 2006 m. išleistas albumas "Lietuvių tautinis kostiumas". Straipsnyje apžvelgiamas albumo kontekstas ir ieškoma T. Jurkuvienės kolekcijoje pateiktų naujovių. Leidinys nurodo lietuvių tautinio kostiumo sąsajas su dabarties kultūra, jis struktūriškai mažai skiriasi nuo pirmtakų leistų albumų. T. Jurkuvienė pirmiausia pateikė trumpą tradicinių drabužių apibūdinimą, t. y. susintetino mokslinius XIX a. kaimo žmonių dėvėtos aprangos tyrimus, tradiciškai laikydamasi nusistovėjusio penkių etnografinių regionų suskirstymo; aprangos dalys dėstomos rengimosi eiliškumo principu. Autorė paminėjo pirmuosius tautinio kostiumo kūrėjus pirmtakus, apibūdino šaltinius, kuriais rėmėsi rekonstruodama tautinius kostiumus, ji nuosekliai, išsamiai pristato šių kostiumų kūrimo metodiką. T. Jurkuvienė pripažįsta, kad šios kopijos labai arti tikrųjų istorinių drabužių, nors nėra identiškos. Jų komplektavimas jos, kaip dailėtyrininkės, pakoreguotas.
ENTeresė Jurkuvienė, while, since 1983, working in the Scientific Methodical Culture Centre of Lithuania (later – the Lithuanian Folk Culture Centre) and the Institute of Culture, Philosophy and Arts and studying Lithuanian folk art, took most interest in Lithuanian folk costume. When managing the project "Lietuvių Liaudies Kostiumo Rekonstrukcijos", she, together with Danutė Keturakienė ir Laisvė Ašmonaitienė created a folk costume collection (87 pcs.). On the basis of the said collection, the “Lietuvių Tautinis Kostiumas" album was published in 2006. The article provides an overview of the context of the album and searches for innovations, presented in T. Jurkuvienė’s collection. The publication states the relations between the Lithuanian national costume and the present-day culture, structurally it is no different from the previous albums. First of all T. Jurkuvienė presented a brief characterization of traditional clothes, i. e. synthesized the scientific researches of the clothes of rural persons of the 19th century, traditionally observing the entrenched distribution of the five ethnographical regions; the parts of clothing are presented according to the principle of process of taking the clothes on. The author mentions the first creators of the national costume, characterizes the sources, referred to when reconstructing the costumers and comprehensively presents the methodology for creation of the costumes. T. Jurkuvienė recognizes that the copies are very close to the real historic clothes, although not identical. T. Jurkuvienė, being an art critic, corrected their completion.
