Etika ekologinių iššūkių laikais

LTDarbe yra recenzuojama Česlovo Kalendos monografija "Etika gamtos apsaugos amžiuje", kuri lietuviškojoje filosofinėje literatūroje yra džiugus faktas. Monografijoje yra analizuojami šiuolaikiniame globalizacijos reiškinių persisunkusiame pasaulyje ypatingai aktualūs etikos būklės ir jos vaidmens Žemėje klausimai. Česlovas Kalenda teorinę ekologinės etikos analizę vienu ar kitu aspektu sieja su Lietuvos istorijos bei kultūros realijomis. Veikale pasitaikantys pasikartojimai, diskutuotini naujadarai, kaip antai, mikromoralė, makromoralė ir kai kuriose vietose per dažnai vartojama moralės sąvoka yra menki trūkumai, nesumenkinantys atlikto darbo vertės.

ENThe study reviews Česlovas Kalenda’s monograph "Etika Gamtos Apsaugos Amžiuje", which is a joyous fact in the Lithuanian philosophical literature. The monograph analyzes the issues of the state of ethics and its role in the world, which is especially relevant in the modern world, saturated with globalization related phenomena. The global ecological problem raises the issue of the future of human race, which has an undoubted moral significance. Ethics, i. e. one of the oldest subjects of philosophy, is undergoing significant changes. The reviewed monograph is an example of response to such changes, their analysis and cogitation. Ecological ethics is an especially important factor of self-regulation of an individual and the society. It is integral to the functional modern moral consciousness, which is a guarantee of survival and development of the two interrelated parties, i. e. the man and the nature. Česlovas Kalenda’s monograph is a mature, relevant and comprehensive philosophical study, presenting a thoroughly performed examination, referring to plentiful sources and studies of analogical subjects, performed by authors in other countries. Česlovas Kalenda, in one or another aspect, relates the theoretical analysis of ecological ethics with the realities of history and culture of Lithuania. The reiterations and neologisms, which can be found in the study, such as micro-morals, macro-morals and the concept of morals, which is overused in certain places, are small deficiencies, which do not mitigate the value of the performed labour.
