Algimanto Švėgždos kasdienybės (re)konstrukcija: kūrybos lūžio laikotarpis dailininko dienoraštyje

LTStraipsnyje remiantis pagrindiniu šaltiniu - Vilniaus dailės akademijos archyve saugomu Algimanto Švėgždos (1941-1996) 1984-1985 m. dienoraščiu - aiškinamasi, kaip ir kodėl po netrumpos priverstinės pertraukos įvyko dailininko kūrybinis atgimimas, kas lėmė vaizdavimo siužetų ir raiškos permainas jo kūriniuose. Algimantas Švėgžda užima išskirtinę vietą XX a. II pusės Lietuvos dailės kontekste. Dailininko gyvenimas ir kūryba skilusi į du laikotarpius: lietuviškąjį - ieškojimų (1961-1982) ir vokiškąjį - kūrybos išgryninimo (1982-1996). Naujas gyvenimo būdas Vokietijoje padėjo susigyventi su sunkia inkstų liga, jis pakeitė ir kūrybą. Kūryba dailininko jau suvokiama kaip vientisas būties, persipynusios su buitimi, procesas, nebelieka savo, kaip menininko, veiklos sutaurinimo, specialaus pasiruošimo kūrybiniam darbui. Jis pradėjo eksperimentuoti, leido sau laisvai džiaugtis pačiu kūrybos procesu, mažiau galvodamas apie rezultatą, tapymas gamtoje padėjo dailininkui išbandyti savo galimybių ribas. Menininkas pradėjo piešti mažus gamtos radinius, vaikščiodamas pajūriu rinko kriaukleles, pagaliukus, vėliau namie juos perkeldavo į popieriaus lakštus. Šios eksperimentinės gamtos studijos ilgainiui tapo pagrindine Švėgždos kūrybos strategija. Daiktai piešiniuose įgijo neapibrėžtą simbolinę prasmę, pirmiausia dėl to, kad tuštuma aplink juos suvokiama ne kaip realios erdvės atvaizdas, bet kaip simbolinė, metafizinė ir kartu paties piešinio erdvė. Į paveikslų erdvę įtrauktos pastabos apie piešinį siekė perteikti įspūdį, natūraliai išreikšti tapymo metu kilusias mintis, asociacijas.

ENThe article, referring to the main source, i. e. the diary of Algimantas Švėgžda (1941 – 1996), written in 1984 – 1985, stored in the archives of Vilnius Academy of Arts, attempts to establish how and why, after a lengthy forced hiatus, there occurred the creative resurrection of the artist and what determined the changes of the subjects and expression of his works. Algimantas Švėgžda occupies an exceptional place in the context of Lithuanian art of the 2nd half of the 20th century. The life and oeuvre of the artist was divided into two time periods, i. e. the Lithuanian – the period of searching (1961-1982) and the German – the period of distillation of the creative (1982-1996). The new lifestyle in Germany helped the artist to cope with the severe kidney disease and changed his creative, which was perceived by the artist as an integral process of being, intertwined with subsistence, the activities of an artist were no longer seen as noble, there was no special preparation for the creative work. Švėgžda started experimenting, allowed himself to freely enjoy the process of creation itself not caring about the result, painting outside in the nature helped him to try the limits of his possibilities. The artist commenced to paint his small findings, he took walks along the sea shore and collected small sticks and shells and, after coming home, painted them. Such experimental studies of nature eventually became the main strategy of Švėgžda’s creative. The objects on the drawings acquired a non-defined symbolical meaning, first of all due to the fact that the emptiness around them was perceived as an image of not the real, but a symbolic and metaphysical environment. The notes on drawings, included into their space attempted to render the impression and naturally express the ideas and associations, which arose in Švėgžda‘s mind when painting.
