Asmens tapatybė Ramunės Pigagaitės fotografijų cikle Mano miesto žmonės

LTŠiuo straipsniu siekiama plėtoti asmens tapatybės ir fotografijos santykiui skirtą Lietuvos menotyros diskursą, pagal psichoanalitinės teorijos teiginius išsamiai analizuojant konkrečius kūrinius: Ramunės Pigagaitės fotografijų ciklą Mano miesto žmonės. Šios analizės tikslas - atskleisti iki šiol neįvardytus minėtų kūrinių bruožus ir nurodyti, kurie iš jų sieja R. Pigagaitės darbus su bendru šiuolaikinės Lietuvos fotografijos kontekstu, o kurie lemia jos fotografijų išskirtinumą. Nors R. Pigagaitės fotografijų serija Mano miestelio žmonės jau yra aptarta publicistiniuose straipsniuose, tačiau ji nebuvo analizuota psichoanalitinės teorijos kontekste, kuris šiuo atveju atveria reikšmingų ir naujų įžvalgų galimybę. R. Pigagaitės fotografijų ciklą nagrinėti, atsisakant įprastinių formos, stiliaus, individualaus kūrybinio braižo bei atlikimo kokybės kategorijų, verčia kūrinių ypatumai, skatinantys sutelkti dėmesį ne į fotografijas, kaip savarankiškus meno kūrinius, bet į tų fotografijų reikšmę, perteikiant žiūrovų ir, pirmiausia, pačios menininkės santykį su tikrove. R. Pigagaitės ciklo Mano miesto žmonės fotografijos, savo forma neatitinkančios meninės fotografijos kanonų, yra priskirtinos šiuolaikinės konceptualios fotografijos sričiai. Cikle sprendžiamos ne tradicinei meninei fotografijai svarbios estetinės problemos, bet keliami už meno ribų kylantys klausimai, susiję su asmens identiteto ir fotografijos santykiu.

ENThe article attempts at development of the discourse of Lithuanian art criticism, dedicated to the relations between the personal identity and photography, by analyzing the specific works according to the statements of the theory of psychoanalysis: the cycle of photographs “The People of My City” by Ramunė Pigagaitė. The analysis aims at revealing the traits of the said works, which have not yet been stated and identifying the traits, which relate R. Pigagaitė’s works with the overall context of the modern Lithuanian photography and those which determine the uniqueness of her photographs. Although the cycle of photographs “The People of My City” by Ramunė Pigagaitė has already been discussed in publicist articles, it has not yet been analyzed in the context of the theory of psychoanalysis, which nowadays unfolds the possibility of new significant insights. The peculiarities of R. Pigagaitė’s photographs encourage to examine them by refusing the usual categories of the form, style, individual creative oeuvre and categories of the quality of execution but drawing the attention not to the photographs as self-sufficient pieces of art, but to their meaning, by rendering the relations between the viewers and, first and foremost, the artist herself and the reality. The photographs of the cycle “The People of My City” by Ramunė Pigagaitė, which, by their form, do not comply with the canons of the artistic photograph, are attributed to the area of the modern conceptual photography. The cycle not only resolves the aesthetical problems, important to the traditional artistic photography, but also raises the issues outside the limits of art, pertaining to the relations between the personal identity and photography.
