Įsivaizduojami identitetai ir legitimacijos būdai XX a. 10 dešimtmečio Lietuvos meno diskurse

LTStraipsnyje mėginamas aptarti bene ženkliausias 10 deš. Lietuvos meno diskurso aspektas - konkuruojančių ideologijų ir dominuojančių interesų grupių sandūra, jų formuluojami specifiniai meno ir tam tikrų kovos būdų legitimacijos būdai. Kartu bandoma atskleisti kaip ideologinėmis priemonėmis meno diskurse buvo formuojami ir stiprinami identitetai arba priklausomybė vienai iš dominuojančių meno lauko jėgų. Pagrindinis dėmesys skiriamas kultūros periodikos tekstams, kuriuose, kaip socialinėje erdvėje veikiančiame galios ryšių lauke, pasireiškė stipri konkurencinė kova tarp įsitvirtinusio modernizmo ir užgimstančio naujojo meno paradigmų. Periodikos tekstai apie meno procesus - parodas, meno institucijas, reikšmingus lauko įvykius, meno kūrinius, jų autorius - tapo viena iš meninio kapitalo platinimo formų, svarbiausiu jį legitimuojančiu veiksniu, kartu ir viena iš tapatybės, pripažįstamos meno paradigmos, įtvirtinimo priemonių. Meno produkcijos laukas, kaip tikėjimo erdvė, gaminanti meno kūrinio vertę, kaip fetišą, produkavo tikėjimą menininko kūrybine galia ir meno kūrinio verte. Meno lauko dominuojančių jėgų kova, daugeliu atvejų, vyko ne dėl estetinių ar etinių vertybių, bet dėl institucinės galios įtvirtinimo; menininkas galėjo arba priešintis šioms galios jėgoms arba naudotis jų teikiamomis privilegijomis, taigi kūrėjui teko spręsti savo vietos hierarchinėje struktūroje problemas. Tyrinėjant postsovietinio Lietuvos meno lauko dalyvių identiteto ir naujų savilegitimacijos mechanizmų paieškas, tikslinga pasitelkti sociologo Pierre‘o Bourdieu meno lauko sąvoką.

ENThe article discusses the main aspect of the discourse of Lithuanian art in the nineties, i. e. collision of competing ideologies and dominating interest groups and specific ways of art and legitimation of certain ways of fighting, formulated by the said ideologies and interest groups. In addition, the article reveals the ways the identities or belonging to one of the dominating art field powers were shaped and strengthened in the art discourse by employing ideological means. The main attention is dedicated to periodical publications’ texts on culture issues, which, as a field for connection of powers, operating in the social space, manifested with a strong competition between the entrenched modernism and the emerging new art paradigms. The texts on exhibitions, art institutions, significant field events, pieces of art and their authors, found in periodical publications, became a form of dissemination of artistic capital, the most important factor, legitimating the artistic capital and also a tool for identity entrenchment, i. e. a recognized artistic paradigm. The artistic production field, as a space for believing, producing the value of the piece of art as a fetish produced the belief in the creative powers of the artist and the value of the piece of art. The fight between the powers, dominating in the field of art, in most cases, occurs not due to aesthetic or ethical values, but due to the entrenchment of the institutional power; an artist could either resist the said powers or use their privileges, therefore the artist had to resolve the issues, pertaining to his position in the hierarchical structure. When examining the searches for the identity by the participants of the post-Soviet Lithuanian art field and the mechanisms for self-legitimation of the new participants, it is viable to use the concept of the field of art, defined by the sociologist Pierre Bourdieu.
