Summary / Abstract:

LTŠio straipsnio tikslas – atskleisti koncepto PINIGAI analizės galimybes konceptualiųjų metaforų metodu. Tiriamojo objekto suvokimo skirtumams paaiškinti įvedamas kognityvinės lingvistikos terminas – konceptas, plačiau aptariamos ir palyginamos neurofiziologinės ir lingvokultūrologinės koncepto teorijos, koncepto struktūra ir raiškos būdai kalboje. Konceptu PINIGAI šiame straipsnyje vadiname mąstymo dydį, kurio loginį branduolį sudaro sąmoningai (ypač ekonomikos teorijoje) konstruojamos pinigų sąvokos ir kuris apima kalbinės bendruomenės sąmonėje fiksuotą pragmatinę, kultūrinę ir aksiologinę informaciją apie pinigus ir su jais susijusius reiškinius. Kalbotyros metodai leidžia tirti ne absoliučiai visą informaciją, siejamą su tam tikru konceptu, o tik tą jos dalį, kuri reiškiama kalba. Todėl šios pranešimo tyrimo objektas – kolokacijos, t.y. įprastiniai žodžių junginiai, kurių pamatinis žodis – leksema pinigai arba vienas iš jos sinonimų grupės žodžių. Aprašydami koncepto PINIGAI kalbinę raišką, kalbines metaforas siejame su konceptualiosiomis, t. y. remiamės Dž. Lakofo bei M. Johnsono sukurtu ir M. Hundto ekonomikos konceptams tirti adaptuotu konceptualiųjų metaforų metodu. Straipsnio praktinėje dalyje nustatomi pagrindiniai konceptualiųjų metaforų modeliai: PINIGAI YRA GYVA BŪTYBĖ, PINIGAI YRA MECHANIKA, PINIGAI YRA ERDVĖ, kurie lyginami su adekvačiais modeliais ekonomikos teorijos kalboje, nurodoma į panašumus ir skirtumus, pateikiamos dviejų kalbų (vokiečių ir lietuvių) iliustracijos. [Iš leidinio]Reikšminiai žodžiai: Konceptualioji metafora; Konceptas; Raiška; Struktūra; Mąstymo dydis.

ENThe aim of this article is to explore the analytical possibilities of the concept of MONEY through the method of conceptual metaphor. To explain the differences in understanding of the object under study, the term ‘concept’ from cognitive linguistics is used. The neuro-physiological and linguistic-cultural theories of ‘concept’ are broadly discussed and compared, as are the structure of a ‘concept’ and its manifestations in language. By the concept of MONEY in this article we mean the entire cogitative package, the logical kernel of which is made up of all the consciously construed (especially in economic theory) ideas about money and includes the language community’s consciously fixed pragmatic, cultural and axiological information about money and related phenomena. Linguistic methods enable the analysis not of absolutely all the information related to that concept, but only of the part of it that is expressed by language. Therefore, the object of study of this article is the collocations, i.e. the usual word combinations, of which the key word is the lexeme MONEY or a synonym thereof. When writing about the linguistic manifestations of the concept of MONEY, we connect linguistic metaphors to conceptual metaphors, i.e. we rely on the conceptual metaphor method created by G. Lakoff and M. Johnson and adapted by M. Hundt for the analysis of economic concepts. In the practical part of the article we establish the basic models for the conceptual metaphor: “Money is a living creature.” ; “Money is a mechanism.” ; “Money is a space.” These are compared to adequate models in the language of economic theory, similarities and differences are compared, and illustrations are given in two languages (German and Lithuanian).
