Summary / Abstract:

LTStudijų kokybės vertinimo centre atliekamas studijų programų auditas skatina mokslininkų bendruomenės diskusijas apie studijų kokybę. Vienas iš reikalavimų studijų kokybei - studijų turinys turi atitikti suteikiamą absolvento kvalifikaciją. Be to, studijų programos kvalifikaciją apibrėžiančios kompetencijos turi derėti su Lietuvos pedagogo aprašą sudarančiomis kompetencijomis. Reikšminiai žodžiai: Specialioji pedagogika; Studijų kokybė; Lietuvos pedagogo profesijos aprašas; Gebėjimai; Kompetencijos; Europos Sąjungos kvalifikacijų sąranga; Mokymosi pasiekimai.; Special education; quality of studies; Competences; Learning achievements; The; Inventory of the Teacher Profession of Lithuania; European Qualification Setup.

ENEducational programme audit, performed at the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education, encourages discussions on quality of education in the scholars’ community. One of the requirements for quality of education is that the content of studies must correspond to the qualification, granted to the graduate. In addition, the competences, defining the educational programme’s qualification must correspond to those, forming the Lithuanian description of the profession of a pedagogue. The article examines the ways the competences, defining the qualification of the educational programme of special pedagogy (speech therapy) are implemented in separate SDK and SPK modules and the ways the SDK and SPK module skills correspond to the abilities, listed in the description. The performed analysis revealed that the content of competences, listed in the description is more oriented towards the social content of nurturing and the skills, reflecting the competences dedicate relatively a small amount of attention to the subject content of nurturing. It was established that there exists a slip between the description and the skills of the educational programme of special pedagogy (speech therapy), therefore the question arises which skills are more needed for special pedagogues in practice and whether the educational programme of special pedagogy (speech therapy) must be oriented towards the skills, listed in the Lithuanian description of the profession of a pedagogue. The said problematic questions could inspire a new study and discussion. It is necessary to improve the SPL description of the educational programme and define the presented achievements in education in the way ensuring revealing of the skills and competences, which are already nurtured both in the SDK and SPK modules, but not included into the SPL description of educational programme at present.
