ENLexical material from Dzyatlava shows that loan-blends might be used simultaneously with the inherited words. Analysis of simultaneous usage shows different morphological (or derivative) stages of loan-blends (native root & borrowed suf- fix, borrowed root & native suffix, borrowed root & borrowed suffix). The lowest borrowing rate is indicated by Lithuanian root words with borrowed suffixes, while borrowed root words with borrowed suffixes should be considered as an expression of intensified borrowing. The last one can also be identified as a lexical swarm of substantive loan-words accessed from the language-donor. The change in morphemes in the word structure can be treated as a particular indication of language decay.
