Laikino atokvėpio paslaugos poreikis šeimoms, auginančioms cerebriniu paralyžiumi sergančius vaikus

LTŠeimų, auginančių negalią turinčius vaikus, poreikiai, situacijos ir problemos skiriasi ir yra unikalios. Jų poreikių tenkinimo organizavimas sunkiai gali būti vienareikšmiškai arba iki galo aiškiai apibrėžtas teisės aktuose. Šeimoms, auginančioms negalią turinčius vaikus, pagalbos teikimas yra esminė sąlyga, leidžianti bent iš dalies gyventi įprastą gyvenimą, neatsiribojant nuo bendruomenės ir kitų aplinkos veiksnių. Siekiant suteikti galimybę pailsėti šeimoms, auginančioms negalią turinčius vaikus, įtvirtinama nauja atskira specialioji paslauga – laikinas atokvėpis. Šeimos auginančios negalią turinčius vaikus, kurios tam tikrą laikotarpį dėl asmeninių reikalų negali skirti laiko savo prižiūrimiems artimiesiems, turi galimybę gauti laikino atokvėpio paslaugą, siekdamos pailsėti nuo nuolatinės asmens priežiūros. Šio tyrimo problema – koks yra laikino atokvėpio paslaugos poreikis šeimoms, auginančioms cerebriniu paralyžiumi sergančius vaikus? Straipsnyje yra atskleidžiamas laikino atokvėpio paslaugos poreikis šeimoms, auginančioms cerebriniu paralyžiumi sergančius vaikus. Atlikta mokslinės literatūros, teisės aktų ir kokybinio turinio duomenų analizė. Tyrimo duomenų rinkimui buvo pasitelktas kokybinis tyrimas, taikant iš dalies struktūruotą interviu metodą. Tyrimo dalyviai – keturios šeimos, auginančios cerebriniu paralyžiumi sergančius vaikus. Tyrimo gauti rezultatai atskleidžia, kad laikino atokvėpio paslaugos poreikis kyla dėl nepakankamos paramos šeimoje, poreikio rūpintis kitais vaikais ar jaučiamo nuovargio, atsirandančio dėl nuolatinės vaiko priežiūros.Laikino atokvėpio paslaugos teikimas tampa esminiu, siekiant suteikti šeimoms, auginančioms cerebriniu paralyžiumi sergančius vaikus galimybę pailsėti, mėgautis atostogomis ar gauti reikiamą pagalbą ir paramą, ypač kai vienas iš tėvų susiduria su sveikatos problemomis. Daugelis informantų laikino atokvėpio paslaugos teikimą rinktųsi namuose, nes tai padėtų jų vaikams geriau jaustis savo namų aplinkoje. Tačiau tyrimo dalyviams neaiškumų sukėlė finansinės jų galimybės, nes laikino atokvėpio paslaugos kainos nėra aiškiai apibrėžtos. Taigi, teikiant laikino atokvėpio paslaugas bei siekiant užtikrinti tinkamą paramą būtina atsižvelgti į šeimų, auginančių cerebriniu paralyžiumi sergančius vaikus, skirtingus poreikius. In order to give families with children with disabilities a chance to rest, a new separate special service - temporary respite. Problem of the research: what is the need for temporary respite services for families with children with cerebral palsy? Subject of the research: the need for temporary respite services for families with children with cerebral palsy. The purpose of the research is to: determine the need for temporary respite services for families with children with cerebral palsy. Research objectives: 1. To present the psychosocial characteristics of families with children with cerebral palsy. 2. To describe the provision of temporary respite services for families with children with cerebral palsy. 3. To reveal the need for temporary respite services for families with children with cerebral palsy. Research methodology and subjects: theoretical – analysis of scientific ant legal literature sources and documents. Empirical – semi-structured interviews were used for data collection. The participants were families with children with cerebral palsy.Empirical research results: the temporary respite services are important for families with children with cerebral palsy. Although all participants in the study had previously heard about temporary respite services, not all had sufficient information about its provision, indicating a lack of information in this area. The need for temporary respite services arises due to insufficient support within the family, the need to care for other children, or the fatigue resulting from constant child care. The temporary respite services becomes essential for allowing families the opportunity to rest, enjoy vacations, or receive necessary assistance and support, especially when one parent is dealing with health issues. Almost all informants would prefer for temporary respite services to be provided at home, as it would help their children to feel more comfortable in their own surroundings. However, participants in the study were unclear about the financial aspects, as temporary respite services costs are not clearly defined. Therefore, families raising children with cerebral palsy have different needs regarding the temporary respite services, but it is essential to consider these differences in order to ensure appropriate support.
