LTStraipsnyje analizuojamos atliekų ir antrinių žaliavų surinkimo sistemos tobulinimo kryptys Lietuvoje. Šiandieninį vartojimą neišvengiamai lydi atliekos, vartojimo augimas didina atliekų kiekį. Atliekų kiekis pradeda kelti pavojų ne tik aplinkai, bet ir žmonių sveikatai. Visi atliekų srautai patenka į bendrąjį atliekų konteinerį – šalinami regioniniuose nepavojingų atliekų sąvartynuose. Kadangi sistema leidžia pramonei pasirinkti medžiagas naudojamas pakuotėms, jos pasirenkamos atsižvelgiant į gamybos kaštus, t.y. jos yra pakankamai pigios, bet nekokybiškos. Gamyba yra glaudžiai susijusi su vartojimo struktūra, gyvenimo būdu, užimtumu ir pajamų lygiu, taip pat su daugybe kitų socialinių, ekonominių ir kultūrinių faktorių. Tuo tarpu esamos atliekų ir antrinių žaliavų surinkimo sistemos nesuteikia pakankaimai instrumentų atliekų srautų atskyrimui, bei jų tvarkymui. Todėl yra būtina parengti dabar veikiančios atliekų ir antrinių žaliavų surinkimo sistemos tobulinimo kryptis. Raktažodžiai: atliekos, antrinės žaliavos, surinkimas, sistema, tobulinimas.

ENThe article analyses the transfer of the improvement of the waste and recyclables collection system in Lithuania. Today's consumption is inevitably compromised by waste; consumption growth increases the amount of generated waste. The amount of waste begins to threaten not only the environment but also non-hazardous waste landfills. Since the system allows the industry to choose the materials used in packaging, they are selected based on the cost of production, i.e., they are fairly cheap, but of poor quality. Production is closely related to the consumption structure and the way of life, the levels of employment and income, as well as many other social, economic and cultural factors. Meanwhile, the existing waste and recyclables collection systems do not provide tools for sufficient separation of waste flows and their processing. It is now necessary to establish the ways of improvement of the functioning waste and recyclables collection system. Aim of the article. According to the analysis of waste and recyclables systems of the Republic of Lithuania and other countries, to present the ways for improvement of the Lithuanian waste and recyclables collection system that can be used to promote the necessary changes in the legislation regulating the waste and recyclables collection system and institutions are responsible for the implementation of these laws. Research methodology: systematic and comparative analysis of literature, systematic analysis of legislation, practical experience analysis, graphical visualization methods.
