ENResearch problem. Container terminals are not always ready to accommodate changing container flows. The changing political and economic situation adjusts the throughput of cargo flows at the terminal. To smoothly plan, organize, control and carry out activities at the container terminal, it is important to analyze the problems that have arisen that affect the smooth work in the organization and to perform data analyzes of the previous year. A thorough analysis of the management of the organization would allow improving aspects of the company's management, which would improve the throughput of container flows. How to organize the company's activities so that the throughput of container flows does not decrease? Research object. The Management of Container Flows of „Klaipėdos konteinerių terminalas” Ltd. Research aim. Analyze the management of container flow of „Klaipėdos konteinerių terminalas” Ltd. Research methods: scientific literature analysis, company data analysis, observation method, document content analysis, linear flow forecasting. Conclusions. Analyze the theoretical aspect of cargo transportation by sea containers, it can be argued that a container is a strong metal box that protects the cargo from external factors. Sea containers are the main part of intermodal transportation, where several modes of transport are used to deliver the cargo, and the cargo always remains in the container. Intermodal transportation works well for transporting goods over long distances, in which case the duration of cargo transportation is reduced. After preliminary forecasting of container transshipment flows by linear forecasting method, container flows will increase. Forecast calculations help to assess the future situation and provide an opportunity to properly prepare to receive future container flows. Keywords: container, flow, terminal, management.
