ENThe article introduces the academic world to a new resource for research on the history of the Lithuanian army during the Great Northern War (1700–1721), that is a draft of the komput (conscription plan) of 1703. The document is deposited in the Kórnik Library of Polish Academy of Sciences as manuscript number 985. However, in the library’s manuscript inventory, it is labelled as the komput of 1706. Determining the actual dating of the document poses serious difficulties. It is possible only by means of approximation of the timeframe. It was certainly written prior to 27th November 1703 (implementation of the council resolution of the senate in Jaworów, on removing the Sapiehas from their offices). Most probably, the document was made prior to or during the Sejm of Lublin (11th June – 19th July 1703).
