ENThe Potocki family is one of the largest magnate families of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. As a result of his activities, magnificent palaces, parks, churches, monasteries, and above all, cities and towns were built on the common cultural territory of Poland and Ukraine. The Potockis developed their territories, being at the same time a part of the elite of the Polish-Lithuanian state since the 17th century. Members of this family held the highest offices in the state. The legacy of this family is not always valued the same way. So is the history of the Potocki family a common or separate history for Poles and Ukrainians?.
