ENWith the rapid development of technologies, including medical ones, the issue of adequately ensuring a person’s reproductive rights, which belong to somatic human rights, has become acute. Their legal regulation in European countries is differentiated and contains some gaps. Numerous international documents regulate issues related to human reproductive rights and set specific standards that the governments of the member states must follow. However, the insufficient level of development of the legislation requires making the recommended changes. Therefore, the analysis and comparison of the state of implementation of human reproductive rights in the legislation of Ukraine and Lithuania determine the relevance of this study.
