Literatūrinis gyvenimas Vokietijos DP stovyklose 1945-1950 metais (Rašytojų draugijos veikla, kultūrinė spauda, literatūros debiutai) : disertacija

LTLyginant 1945–1950 metų egzilio literatūrą su tuo pačiu metu Lietuvoje kurta literatūra, prioritetas gali būti suteiktas egzilio literatūrai: pokario represijos, kultūros ir meno ideologizavimas, cenzūra Lietuvoje beveik visiškai sustabdė laisvos ir natūralios kūrybos raidą. Apžvelgus Vokietijos DP laikotarpio literatūrinio gyvenimo pagrindinius aspektus, galima daryti išvadą, kad gintinės, pastoviųjų vertybių praradimas pakeitė ne tik gyvenančio svetur kūrėjo nuostatas, egzilyje pakito pati literatūros samprata ir tikslai. Vertinant pokario egzilio literatūrą, galima matyti tam tikrų tematinių pokyčių. Šio laikotarpio pradžioje prozoje dažnai paliktosios Lietuvos tematiką keičia karo, okupacijų, pasitraukimo iš Lietuvos, gyvenimo svetur motyvai. Kai kurių autorių kūryboje šios patirtys susilieja į vieną bendrą katastrofos motyvą, tada kūrinio centru tampa nebe išorinės tikrovės įvykis, o jausmo eksplikacija. Temos pokyčiai įtakojo žanro modifikacijas, kai kurių autorių kūryboje originaliai buvo panaudotos pasakos, legendos žanras. Vyresnioji kūrėjų karta savo kūryboje išlaikė lietuviškąją tradiciją: jie poetizavo gimtinės gamtovaizdžius, kūrė praeities idilę, aplinkinis svetimas pasaulis jų kūryboje neegzistavo arba tapo nereikšmingas. Daugeliui jaunųjų rašytojų Vokietijos laikotarpis atvėrė itin plačias galimybes. Vakarietiškos įtakos paspartino jų kūrybos raidą, Vokietijoje susiformavo jų temos, prasidėjo meninės išraiškos priemonių modernėjimas. [sutrumpintas autoriaus tekstas]

ENComparing the literature of the exile of the year 1945-1950 with the literature produced in Lithuania during the same period, the first one can be given priority: post-war repressions, ideologization of culture and art, and censure almost completely stopped the development of a free and natural creative activity in Lithuania. Reviewing the main aspects of the literary life of German DP period, a conclusion can be drawn that the loss of homeland and permanent values altered not only the beliefs of the creator residing in a foreign country but also the concept of literature itself and its goals changed in the exile. Evaluating the post-war literature of the exile, certain thematic changes can be noticed. In the prose of the beginning of the period, the topic of the abandoned Lithuania is often replaced by the motives of war, occupations, retreat from Lithuania and life abroad. In the works of some authors these experiences merge into a single motive of catastrophe; then the centre of the work is not an event of external reality but the explication of an emotion. The changes in topics have influenced the genre; some authors have creatively used the genre of a fairy-tale and legend. The creators of the older generation preserved the Lithuanian tradition in their works: they poetized the landscapes of the homeland, created the idyll of the past, the surrounding unfamiliar world did not exist in their works or lost significance. The German period opened particularly wide opportunities to many of the young writers. Western influences accelerated the development of their creative work, the topics were shaped in Germany and the modernization of the means of artistic expression began.
